BMFA 2021 Membership ????

Am I the only one but tried to renew my BMFA membership and CAA reg on the BMFA web site today but gave up. When I go in to the cart there is nothing in the cart .Tried several times but gave up in the end .Anyone else having the same trouble. Try to ring the BMFA ,just had an answear phone on .

Still can not renew my membership on line again or more precise I can not reg with the CAA I must be unlucky I seem to have this problem a lot. Might not bother with it this year .(BMFA and CAA save myself £47  )

I tried just now and when I went to the "cart" there was a message showing my details but saying " these items does not "(sic) "meet the purchasing rule criteria ". My CAA registration runs until July next year, so I suspect this is why, and I shall try just renewing the BMFA membership, but I wonder if anyone will remind me to renew the CAA registration in the summer. I shall almost certainly forget!

I checked my profile and there is nothing marked with a asterisk on any of the tabs!

I got exactly the same, but I worked around it. My problem was that the Gender entry in my profile was empty (didn't initially have asterisk though). Once I filled the Gender tab in, the asterisk appeared and all was then ok.

Question for Andy Symons.

I've just renewed my membership and CAA registration. I have received 3 emails with receipt, BMFA certificate and CAA exemptions, but (as I half expected) no new CAA Operator number. Will BMFA be sending data across to CAA in batches similar to last year to allow them to issue the new Operator ID? If so, what are the planned dates?

Many thanks and glad to see system is working (with a few minor issues).
