Keiran Arnold
What about making a short jump lead with the wires crossed over - a bit Heath-robinson but it might work

Tim Mackey
Ah, so servo reverse but not model memory then - I see nowThe newer servo reverse units are pretty small and light these days Eric. Any chance of fitting a bellcrank setup somewhere 'tween the servo output arm and the horn - probably not...cos you did say the pushrods were kinda short? Myron Beaumont
Try putting your new old gear on swapshop I knew somehow you'd have more relics out there !Seriously -Cant you fit a bent pushrod attached to the opposite side of the servo disc? Or is the space really that tight ? I agree with you in not wanting to fiddlearound in the field with setting things up -some "expert "will arrive to help distract you & make the whole business more confusing . Peter Miller
Yes, but as I put, on two models the ails are correct, on the third, they are reversed! Previously, (on the Reftec) everything worked in the correct sense! There is something fishy here. If they all worked the same way on the Reftec just how can one now be reversed. That is just not logical.
Tim Mackey
Perhaps because of the physical oreienation of the servos /horns on this particular model is opposite to the other two?
Peter Miller
But he said that everything worked with the Reftec. He implied taht the models were the same, just the tranny changed.

Tim Mackey
Phil Wood wrote (see)I assume that now you have retired the Reftec you have put another Rx into model 3 and want to run it off the skysport. If you can't alter the servo's or control horns on model 3 is it possible to alter them on models 1 + 2 and leave your Tx switched to reverse? Phil. I was just about to say that also Great minds think alike ....or is it fools seldom differ

Doug Ireland
Were these servos "standard" from the beginning?
Johan Bach 1
Hello Friends, I would just ask Merlin for a little magic perhaps? It might just help, or Eric may just put a very strongly worded note on his Xmas wish list. All the best to you all, Johan.

Hamish
"I can only conclude that, as two receivers are old stock, and one is new, perhaps the encoder circuit has been altered for whatever reason?"Can you swap the receivers about to a model that you can physically reverse the servo? EditDisregards as I just read your recent post
Andy Gates
Eric.Since your gear is not "new", could you have fitted or maybe could you fit a reverse sense servo. In each set of 4 servos supplied with Tx Rx, there used to be one servo which ran in reverse for exactly this purpose. The Futaba ones used to have a green ID label instead of a black one to identify it.
Peter Miller
That is right, many old sets like Acoms came with a reverse servo. The simple answer is a label by the on-off switch on the model "Reverse Ailerons"
Phil Claridge
andys dead right i have just put an old acoms set on swopshop it has three black labels and one green
Andy Gates
I still have my old Acoms 35MHz AM 4 channel set in my cupboard, sitting alongside the Futaba Medallion 3 channel 27MHz AM set
