Breky cereal carton cardboard will do. Once the leak is fixed you will probably want to lean the mix a little as the silencer pressure to the tank will have increased.

World's fastest electric plane RR powered
PatMc replied to David Ovenden's topic in Full Size Aviation
Like electric powered model planes. -
I've never had problems operating models with no undercarriage & bolt on or plug in wings from rough land.
-
Don't put up with a free flight legacy, convert the model to proper bolt down fixing with screw(s) & dowel(s).

Paul, it's actuaĺy not a laughing matter. The point I'm making is that even a sub 250g model can cause damage. Don't forget that flying a model is covered by specific legal legislation. Whilst there's no need to be anal about it, I think it would be common sense to prioritise consideration to other park users. In the incident I mentioned the specs were valued at £500 - 600 by the owner, one lens was scratched beyond repair allegedly by the model's plastic prop. Personaly if it had been my model I'd have disputed the claim as there was no proof that the lens wasn't already damaged. IMO everyone taking part in indoor flying knows the risks posed by flying models anyway unlike a public park.

Oh yes you can ! A mate of mine had to submit an insurance claim, via the BMFA, when his rubber powered indoor model damaged the (expensive)specs of another flier at the event. IIRC my mate had to cough up the initial £50. BTW he didn't launch the model towards the person or do anything reckless.

2 or 3mm metal rod - not stainless?
PatMc replied to Peter Christy's topic in All Things Model Flying
Andy, read the OP -
The pop ups seem to have stopped in the last 1/2 hour. I just noticed, or at least didn't notice any , when reading Leccy's post.

I access this forum using a PC & also a tablet. Get pop ups using the PC but not when using the tablet. Browser used on both is Chrome.

Model fixings stock 3mm studding, albeit stainless steel. -
Forthcoming restrictions

But the government of the day has been granted this mandate by the electorate. So it's actually the elcotorate who send anyone to war - a bit tough on those in the past who were to young to vote. PS you would not always ultimately be fighting to defend your family. -

And whilst they're at it, to mantain impartiality, they should also delete any pro-monarchist comments. -
I assumed the end point was to be reduced, same as Matty. Also I should have said "ESC may recognise" not "ESC will recognise" .

Are the higher kv motors also low pole count ?
-
Are you sure it wasn't surgical spirit ? Meths is antiseptic but (AFAIR) it also prolongs bleeding time.
-
The timing is dependant on the rpm as well as the pole count. A 2s lipo would probably solve both this & the over power issue.

Was the school nurse an alcoholic😄
-
Or you could ues a 2s lipo.

I don't think it was anything to do with the Greens, it was simply realised that a lot of easily available adhesives etc were using chemicals that were harmful when being used without proper precautions being taken.

No, at some point the ESC will recognise the limited stick travel as full 0 - 100%. Do as Geoff suggests, try a smaller prop.

Hi Alfred, I'm with JD 8 regarding 35 Meg V 2.4 Gig, though since you now have 2.4 gear why not use it ? I would, even if only to obviate the chance ( albeit small chance) of a frequency clash. Had a quick google for the Eflite Cherub details - AFAICS it hasn't been on sale for quite some time but when it was it had a brushed motor installed. It would be worth checking if yours still has or has been upgraded. In case you are not aware - the quick way would be to check if the motor/esc connection is 2 wire (brushed 👎) or 3 wire (brushless 👍)
