Or "Fox Missile Mist" at 45% Nitro if I remember correctly!

Dusting the surface of hardwoods with sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) allows Cyano to be used successfully. Especially on spruce, pine and other resinous timbers.
-
I think it was developed by JR and adopted by Spektrum when JR/Spektrum were working together. All current JR Tx's have model match.
-
Just set all surfaces to neutral, motor to idle. Anything else is wishful thinking if the radio goes into failsafe when the model is in a roll, loop or anything other than straight and level.
-
Use a hardwood block with a piece of snake inner(Robart yellow) glued in for the screw fixing. Never had one come loose yet!

Spektrum NX radios - are they worth it?
jrman replied to Peter Roberts's topic in General Radio Discussion
You can get JR from ProBuild who are the new stockists. -
Great service - Everything Airbrush
jrman replied to Martin Hodgson's topic in R/C Retailers / Distributors / Manufacturers
They repaired an old Aerograph Sprite Major airbrush for me last year. Excellent service and at a price I couldn't believe. (Low). Highly recommended. -
Replace the ply with kitchen worktop then your building base material on top. Worktop rarely warps.(Famous last words!)

Nigel, Check on the RCJapan site. I ordered new regulators from them for both 91 and 120's. (they are the same)
-
Nigel, Spare regulators are available from https://www.rcjapan.net/. It's worth replacing the small o rings on the slow running needle as well. I had similar problems on an OS 120 pumped and eventually sourced the fault to these o rings. Just engines stock the rings.

There still appears to be problems. Pages take a loooooong time to load, often ending with this message: Error 520 Ray ID: 66da0d0bbe7e0052 • 2021-07-12 11:49:55 UTC Web server is returning an unknown error

Thinners for Guild Chroma enamel paints

White spirit. -
I think he means a rounded (domed) nut. The washer should be used between nut (of whatever type) and the prop. The holes are for a "tommy bar" to tighten the nut with.

Put the bottle in the microwave for 10 seconds at a time (without the cap) until the crystals disappear. Let it cool down before using otherwise you will speed up the setting time. This crystallisation is quite normal and in industrial situations ( shipbuilding etc.) it is normal to have large hot water baths capable of heating up 40 gallon drums of resin. The properties of the resin are not altered or harmed.

I always put a "turn" of masking tape on the outers where they are going to be fixed with epoxy. This imo is far more secure than just epoxy on the plastic outer which does not give the best adhesion.

Have you contacted MacGregor. they used to have them all on their website but not now! If you don't have any luck I have a copy but it's 144 pages which is a lot of scanning! Any particular sections you are interested in?

It's worth a phone call as the connector may not be unique to Spektrum.

Try Mike Ridley at https://modelradioworkshop.co.uk/servicing/
-
Exactly as indicated on the cutaway and stated in the advert.
-
Worth checking that the split collet on the prop shaft is not slipping or that the prop hub is not too thin and allowing the nut to bottom out before tightening the driver and collet sufficiently.
-
Cutaway drawing confirms that the only gasket is for the head. https://www.os-engines.co.jp/english/line_up/engine/air/single/pdf/34200.pdf It also appears to show the rear bearing is shielded (at least on the rear side) but the front is open (at least on the rear).

Spinner for reverse rotation propeller
jrman replied to Trevor's topic in Model Engineering and Accessories
Try "Tru - Turn" spinners in the USA. Expensive but excellent quality. http://www.truturn.com -
New JR DMSS Tx's are available from Probuild (if they have them in stock) or Inwoods . Failing that direct from their US warehouse. (JR PROPO / Dee Force Aviation)

I don't know if it's balanced as I can't see if the tailplane is level.
