  1. Please be very careful if receiving PM's or messages in a thread trying to sell you things, be very suspicious if it mentions a third party having what you're looking for, if any doubt, don't commit to buying.
  2. Done mine, differed in parts from the guidance but it helped a lot, all the differing terms are mind numbing to me so referencing helped.
  3. Yep, but it's still the best method we have other than fly by wire, and that's cheating. 😉
  4. Mine was a doddle, underarm lob, no severe torque roll and plenty throttle on.
  5. It's a dubious claim that only precision aerobatic models benefit from engine offsets, laws of physics applys to all types with a prop on. Landing with trim in the rudder/elevator causes a reaction would we class that as a precision manouvre ? A nice line up in the cowl, o.k if it's a static, if it's for flying another story. Physics is physics and you canna change the laws of physics...Montgomery Scott.
  6. They have Gortex liners, thick sole/heel to insulate and are the dogs doodahs, decent price as well.
  7. No, John Stones asked if you attended the EGM when the vote was held to say yes/no the the NFC, it was well publicised, also stated, votes could be cast via Proxy. You were very active in the threads at the time, did you attend or arrange a vote via proxy ?
  8. Skee Tex thermal fishing wellies, toastie feet no faffing, local tackle shop or online. https://www.anglingdirect.co.uk/skee-tex-thermal-boots?msclkid=1088b7279f981a28b7dcd24804bfba08&utm_source=bing&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Products%3A ALL&utm_term=Skee-Tex Thermal Boots&utm_content=P17707
  9. I don't need nor expect the BMFA to do everything I want, we are a diverse group and long may it continue. Did you go the EGM on Buckminster ?
  10. Thank you Matty. Number ones something we've done in part, but apathy sadly lessens any impact that could've brought. Number two, fair comment but I would think discussions have been had about legal challenges, my own view is, that would be money wasted sadly, maybe I got old and lost the will to fight but that route looks like an act of self harm, spending money we shall need for no gain.
  11. I've read some good posts and some good replies the last few pages. I struggle when it's said "we should stop playing along and letting others set the agenda" ? Easy said, but how do we go about that ? Where is this magic bullet ?
  12. Paranoia and reality ? Some seem to think they have insight others lack, you could not be more wrong. The real issue is some drone on and on plus wade into those fighting our corner, disagreeing as a formality with any stance they take or guidance they give, having done this, they then go on to offer nothing themselves. Here's my reality. We have few cards to play, so stick together and get the best we can, no matter how long we've done XYZ for, those days are ending, those are facts we can all see. Constant negativity will only achieve one thing, a decline in our numbers.
  13. No one pooh poohed comments re future price rises, they just tired of the doom mongers, we all know night follows day, but some revel in perpetual gloom and love to depress others.
  14. For the sake of asking, I would contact Manny at the BMFA, find out the cost and other details re putting into an auction, nothing to lose and commits you to nothing.
