I like his thinking myself, had a magnificent time with the Merc and still a good enough driver to win races. I don't think it's a lack of faith in the Merc, just a desire to go drive for an icon of F1, hope it works out for Lewis and Ferrari. A chance for Mercedes to reboot to a new era as well.

Sadly I have no pictures of the great mans models that I've built, lot of fond memories though. I first started modelling in my early 20s, knew absolutely zero about aerodynamics, engines, or building. Progress was slow due to lack of talent/money/car/drinking, flying ability came slow at first also, I was too timid.
