Out at early this morning to check on cows near calving which are in field next to house. On the walk back came across a lost drone in the grass just some twenty yards from the house. Put it on kitchen table and went to do something, came back after a few mins and it was flashing its lights like crazy. I know very little about drones but guess it was hoping for a response from its controller. Pulled the batt as did not want it lifting off in the house [perhaps] Only marking says MINI 3 on body and CINE Z908 max on rotor arms.

For bigger motors it will be back to converting chain saw, strimmer motors. some of them are 4 stroke today.

Welcome back. Chris Foss models are all good flyers.

Those things need to be BANNED. Decaying units will result in adding even more poisons to our all ready infused grounds, brooks, streams, rivers and sea's.

Was the must have engine for the precision aerobatic comps back in the day. Think engine size was limited to 10cc.

I was having issues starting my old series 3 Land Rover. [ just a farm run around] Engine would only turn over slowly even with a new battery. Stripped back the covering on the positive cable as could see crud at terminal. Cable was black and crumbly for about a foot. New cable to starter and we were away.

Not the nicest looking of the ARC range but all were/are good flyers. Will be awaking my Jupiter from winter slumber soon. -

That darn Magpie sounded worried, must have been on the other side. -
Engineering wise the above Irvine advice sounds like a bad idea. Simply bearings have a wide range. All you need is a good vernier caliper [£25ish]to size what you need.

Some years ago I was on a Coastguard call out to a man walking the Pembrokeshire coast path who was reported to be having heart problems. This was in a spot well away from any roads. We were crossing several fields in our 4x4 rescue truck when we came across two Ambulance men who were on foot carrying their equipment. Picked them up and between us all were able to sort him out and get him to the ambulance still conscious. Talking to the paramedic he said that just three weeks before he had had a triple heart bypass! He said he had been told to do plenty of exercise. Told him we did not think the doctor meant walk the rugged Pembs coast path.

Just fold some light use once light paper cones over a former and slip on for flight. May be a daft idea but anyway good luck with test flight. John. -

Good luck, truly X3perimental. -
Cor, bit of a shock there. Get well soon. John.

Usually they stop doing it if you let go of the stick. One of the issues with rotary servos, [in early RC there were linear servos] there is more movement at the center than ends of travel] making things touchy at the center position. The right amount of expo can help here and some light fingers.

And a Welcome from Wales, still fly my old Limbo Dancer. OS 46.

Early US jet engine power was an issue, most of the successful ones had their origins in designs from the likes of Rolls Royce, De havilland, Armstrong siddeley. -

Looked good in flight, trim changes from one fight to another, like you say servo mounts moved or perhaps engine bulkhead moving?
