  1. When selecting active, you can choose which way you want to turn it on and off, or with a 3 way switch, off/on/off On/off/off etc.
  2. No Issues "yet", I also ( sadly) use a few planes with big batteries, but some retracts are delivered with a timer that one day will activate the 'magic smoke', that will change your way of setting up electric retracts.
  3. Page 83/84 a bit long-winded for me to reply, but similar to my FX-30 ( tg12) one of them cuts the engine, attention only a small amount you will have to fiddle with the servo end settings, the other one blocks the throttle only when you put the stick down, and it locks the throttle at the point that you have programmed the engine.
  4. The French fire is a building next to houses in a small town where there 'was' 900 tons of batteries now all gone up in smoke, the French authorities say as they did for tchernobyl that there is no risk of pollution to the locals,,😡,
  5. I have a couple of my planes wings and cockpits held on with magnets from old burnt out motors.
  6. Opps,,,,https://www.midilibre.fr/2024/02/18/video-les-impressionnantes-images-de-lincendie-dans-une-usine-de-lithium-en-aveyron-population-confinee-route-bloquee-11772625.php
  7. Any reason why you can't just run a bit of tape down the wing / fuselage gap, I used to do that on all my gliders, even my old 3.6m Multiplex DG- 600
  8. I have flown 'real' helicopters, in normal flight it is quite simple but hovering is really difficult ( Bell 47G)
  9. The tower pro voltage tester is well worth the couple of £, I have one in my more expensive models, when the radio is turned on, a quick bit of stick movements will tell you if your battery is on the way out, or if a servo is binding.
  10. Mode 2, so where on earth did mode 1 come from ?, another thing if the Drone law lot get hold of this video maybe it's the next drone model plane law step, our models on a string tethered to the ground.😡
  11. Just unclips the battery balance wire on the dead cell and move the others along like they would be with one less cell.
  12. What sort of plane, size and servos, I still prefer Ni-hm on 5 cells = 6 volts.
  13. Do you have to go with an OS ?. I have had plating issues with Magnum and Thunder tigre due to overheating on people who run them in on the bench, I have had both OS and Irvine chrome peeling problems, there are other older engines that have never ( my experience) had any of the above problems, HP, Webra, Enya, K&B, Supre Tiger, and lastly my favourite, Rossi.
  14. I never sold JR radios, but if my memory is correct everything I sold had the + in the centre like Futaba, it doesn't really matter if the owners actually read the instructions before turning heir radios on, it would avoid that Magic smoke moment.
  15. A silly 20°c + today, I took my jumper off to fly my 2.08m with its Saito FG-30 Stuka, probably 9 months since its last flight.
  16. Can't you rewire the plug to give you the + in the middle ?. Like the time when I sold a Futaba battery to a customer who asked for a Futaba TX 9.6v pack, it blew his new Hitec Tx up 😨
  17. Well done lads, brilliant flying.😇
  18. It should work, I was looking at the Samsung A 15 5G yesterday, and it will accept any micro sim card.
  19. You are in the wrong club, 😨any club should accept both mode 1 and 2 pupils.
  20. Weight is a problem for consumption, drag and tyre wear, my old Diesel Peugeot 306 used a pair of front tyres in around 20.000k, my Peugeot 407 (1700kilos) around, 35000k but my 308sw at less than 1400kilos is now ready for new tyres at 65000 kilometres. so what mileage are you getting with your Ev's ?.
  21. Yes, the bixlers can dive into the ground if it isn't launched properly with too much power due to the configuration of the motor, no difference in the air though.
  22. I tried out the Fiat 500 'red', great fun to drive (also an E pedal mode ) but less than 200 kilometres range, no way that my wife could go there and back to her medical appointments on a full charge as the round trip is 200 kilometres, and the standard version "red" at 31.500 and the petrol version at less than 17.000€ The other problem is the new super parking tax that should start in Paris, and as usual the other cites will follow, Ic and hybride over 1.600kilos 18€ an hour, progressive up to 225€ for 6 hours also applying to EV's over 2.000 kilos.
