Simon Feather
This has got to be a fake: **LINK**
BackinBlack
It doesn't claim to be a Spektrum receiver and doesn't have the logo. So is it a fake? I shan't be finding out, wouldn't trust such an eBay offering.
Don Fry
Intent to deceive when you use the Spectrum model number. What gets me is for that money Hobby King will do you a telemetry enabled unit, with a satalite. And put a brand name on it, and tell the truth. Peter Miller
You notice that the engines are photographed lying on the ground outside. His wife had enough sense not to let him bring them into the house. Well, we all know that the landfill sites are full of rats!!!

Keith Berriman
May be someone changed over his old connections to the XT range and soldered them the wrong way round Easily done
Geoff S
Well I used to cut off XT60 connectors on new 3S 2200 mAH batteries because I'd used 4mm bullets for ages (still do on 4S packs). Eventually I bit the bullet and changed all my esc connectors to XT60 and went over to them. I'm a great believer in recycling/reuse (especially the latter) so perhaps the seller is doing his bit. There's probably nothing wrong with them. It might have been better if he'd unsoldered the wires. Geoff
John Privett
Posted by Chris Walby on 11/10/2018 13:33:14: NiCad's for planes...it will never take off Actually my first electric model ran on NiCds and a brushed motor. It was a foam delta-winged model, needed a decent hand launch but flew adequately well. I could get 3½ minutes flight if I was careful, or 2½ minutes in 'hooligan' mode! I'm amazed at the asking prices of the remains of those engines recovered from what must have been an archaeological dig. I'm sure he was asking way more than they'd have sold for brand new. Geoff S
The Multiplex Twinstar and Twinjet both flew very well on 2 brushed 400/480 motors and 7 cell Nicads and for longer than 3 minutes IIRC Geoff
