Rob
As the caption says "What else do you do with your spare time" . I will start the ball rolling, As well as being a confirmed 'shed head' I instruct at the local Air Cadet squadron teaching the new cadets the ways of the airforce and how thing fly etc. so the content of RCM&E is often refered to. Olly P
Spare time - what is that? Flying, building and working, plus the usual domestic chores. That is about it. Olly

Terry Walters
Retired so never enough time to do everything - you don't believe me? Just wait and find out! Building, crashing and re-buiding RC planes. reading the forum, being at SWMBOs beck and call (just dyed her hair for her!), cooking, DIY, camping in the motor home, dealing with the french 'system', reading about all the things I thought I knew about but don't (another thing you realise when you get older!) There's lot more but I don't have time to list them all - gotta make coffee now and then go to the dechetterie (rubbish bins) and bottle bank! Beautiful day here - very cold but brilliant sun and clear sky. Terry
Phil Brooks
Photography, and for the last ten years, a narrow boat. Sadly, she's probably going up for sale later this year. Anybody wanna buy a boat? One careful owner (we bought her from him ten years ago!).

Don't need to go and watch a film-got a better system right here in the house. Well can count that one as well, have a Denon 7.1 system with a separate 200W RMS LFE speaker, electric screen and HD projector (great for the flight sims ) More of a family thing than my hobby though

RC interests are Scale Heli's, got 2. 4x4 crawlers, got a LR Def90, planes, obviously, got 2 Tamiya trucks, and 2 boats.. Beem a petrol-head since wayback.. Always dismantled, and tuned my cars. I converted my old Escort Cabriolet Efi, by putting a fiesta turbo lump, and ECU, with ERST T4, etc... The most fun I ever had on wheels... Whizzing, chirping, flame spitting, popping fun.. I'm too old and cold for fiddling with them now tho, altho I still drive fast.. Got a Scooby turbo.. Electronics, got a degree in that, but i'm a truck driver now.. Still like to dabble with PIC's tho.. very useful for lights on models.. Had a go at writing my own song on the PC.. Playing GranTurismo... !! And as its gettin mentioned... a projector, Bose 5.1 and Yamaha AV setup.. and a Bose 7.1 on a Mission amp in the bedroom.. (On a dying 26" CRT tv) Luv Chrisie.. xx
Martyn K
Where do I start... Naturalist, Amateur Astronomer, Amateur Radio Astronomer, Motorcycling (I dream of riding around the world), Robotics (on my things to do list is a robotic aircraft), Photographer (prefer film to digital and developing and printing to Photoshop), all computing activities to support the above. We also have a motorhome and enjoy touring - UK and Europe - I wish we had done this when the kids were young - they have all missed out on this. I just wish I had time to do everything to the level I would like, not wishing my life away, but roll on retirement. Martyn
Paul Marsh
Problem with both my hobbies, they are both expensive. One of the amps are £800+ each, and I've more than one. However music/films sound awesome and literally blow everything else out of the window.
Hogster
I enjoy fishing. Before I took up rc modeling I was out on the bank every weekend. All types; sea, coarse and fly fishing. Not done so much lately as there just isnt enough days in the week! I`m still waiting for my lottery win to come through but I suspect I`ll retire through old age long before that happens.
