Gents I'm afraid I have to report that I've asked and that the event is fixed wing only.

So no helicopters please.

Regards
Chris

Chris,

You know what I am going to ask, what about unpowered rotors?

I am still working on the boss to see if I can create enough brownie pointswink 2

Chris,

Thanks for the replythumbs up For me I can fly along side the fixed wing boys but I do appreciate that they may seem intimidating to others who are in the air at the same time.

In theory they are in fact fixed wings.

If I am able to come and the weather plays ball I will bring a selection of my new autogyros and a few of my vintage.

It is highly unlikely I will get my Jupiter completed in time but I will try, I get side tracked sometimesembarrassed.

If I manage to make it see you all there, if I don't have a great time!

Krick 3.5mtr Grunau Baby. Weasel EVO..... if someone has a tugship.

Rippy Spitfire. Golden Eagle. Electraglide. EDF Bede BD5. EDF F18 Hornet.

Maybe the P47 Jug if I have enough room.

If weather plays ball, hope to be there both days with my son

Latest forecast on XCWeather is for 14-16 mph winds gusting to 25 on Saturday, 8-10 on Sunday.

Heavy brigade for me after all, Tornado, King Altair, Dogfighter and Little Bit?

Oh dear I hope it improves, all the models I currently have serviceable don't like the wind too much. Just finished preparing this one:

Flying Aces Sportster

Depends on:

  1. Weather forecast
  2. How much space Martyn has available.

I would like to bring bring my SE5a, Flying Aces Sportster and the Tucano. The first two will fly in the wind (not much for the sportster) but they are much nicer in calmer weather.

I had hoped to bring a big PC9 but it won't be ready so I'll have to have a look around the hangar for something else more suitable for more windy conditions.
