McG 6969
Congrats to Pete & Gary. ... and to John P, of course... I had good hope to reduce Pete's 'comfort zone' a bit, but... Similar to John S, Bottas wasn't of big help again while poor Checco got me into a total disaster. I guess Papa Stroll is now asking Uncle Toto why they received some second-hand power units? ... Anyhow, mega-happy for Romain even if he was totally against the introduction of the Halo a few years ago. Cheers & keep safe till next WE Chris
John Tee
Well done to the top players. No matter what I try, I seem to be stuck on scores in the 90's with an occasional good score. I'm not managerial material obviousy. Might be a good tea maker for other teams. Have to think of a new strategy next season. John

iqon
World champion Lewis Hamilton will miss this weekend's Formula 1 Sakhir Grand Prix in Bahrain after testing positive for coronavirus.
Pete B
Thanks gents, feeling a bit more comfortable now - until the next race.... Seems like the holes in the cheese lined up this time by doing well with the tail-gunners - and that was with only 2 correct predictions I hope Romain buys a Euromillions ticket this week - awful crash to watch. Bad news about Lewis - number 100 will have to wait for next season now, so he'd better get that contract signed Pete
Pete B
Fantasy League have announced how they will deal with the driver changes this weekend: **LINK** I'll not be making any changes but might think a bit about the predictions..... John Privett
Right then! Friday evening, we're still in Bahrain but with a different circuit layout, and with both Grosjean and Hamilton out, for this race at least, a set of driver 'shuffles' mixes things up a bit... P1 and P2 were both headed by Russell, standing-in for Hamilton. Verstappen was second in both sessions. Bottas could have done much better than his actual 11th place in P2, but had a fast lap disallowed for exceeding track limits. P3 is at 2pm tomorrow, but... Don't forget your predictions! Qualifying is at the late time of 5:00 pm tomorrow with the race at 5:10 pm on Sunday.
john stones 1 - Moderator
Cheers John. Interesting practice, track looks to be hard on the cars, might be a few DNFs.
McG 6969
Thanks John P. No idea though what my predictions could/should be for the 'short oval'... Anyway, Young Mr Russell did a splendid job so far with his entry to Toto's private club. Cheers & good luck to all Chris

That's me plummeting 5 places down to 7th, which allows Chris to move up a place to 2nd, John S to move up a place to 3rd, Ade to move up 2 places to 4th and Don to move up 2 places to 6th. Joining me on a downward trajetory, though on a much smaller scale is Tony, slipping a place to 8th. Also heading downwards today is Iqon, down 2 places to 13th, meaning that Charles moves up a place to 11th and Kev moves up a place to 12th. All other places remain unchanged, including Pete who remains in top place but with Chris only 25 points behind. That leaves it all to play for in Abu Dhabi next weekend! McG 6969
... congrats to Charles, John S & Ade. I'll just have to keep an eye on John S as he came dangerously close now. I've been reading that following a FIA-note and local quarantine regulations, Lewis may not be allowed to enter in the final in Abu Dhabi. TBC, I guess... Very well done to Young Mr Russell... and mega happy for Checo with his splendid demonstration and victory. See you all next week. John Tee
Well done to the top players ,very close. Can Chris make up 125 points, after the last two races anything is possible. I'm sweating a bit, John. As yesterday's results show, I can't afford to relax for a moment as a hatful of points can disappear in a flash or a bang..... Excellent result for Charles A great shame for George but so very pleased to see Checo on the top step at last. Bonne chance to everyone for the final race! McG 6969
... really no need to get 'stressed' here, Pete. Imagine having a real disaster outcome with only, say, 70 pts on your counter, I would need 196 of them to be able to get you off the crown... No way, young man... I'm a lot more worried about John S beating me from my 'Poulidor' position. But then, so it be. Cheers Chris

John Privett
So, for the last time this year... Don't forget your predictions! It's Abu Dhabi and another dusk-to-night race under the lights. Hamilton is back, and admitting to taking a while to get back into it, finishing P1 down in 5th and P2 second to Bottas. This is what happens when you select your predictions and then forget to click 'save' Not that it would have made a huge difference, I had the podium places, but in the wrong order, and I think that would have been all! So, how does this affect the overall table? Has Pete held on to top spot? We'll see in a moment...
