Pete B
No points for 'nearly', that's for sure..... Good job I'm not the wrist-slitting type - I'll just blame everyone else........ Great score, John Pete
Ian Jones
There a good chance if I had got my prtedictions in that I would have picked up another some decent points that would have changed things a bit. All sorts of intrusions meant I forgot until qualifying started! Ah well next time.... Ian
Tony H
Well my Predictions are in, I just hope I do better than John this time!. I was at the Nationals all over the weekend it was on last time so I didn't get the benifit of watching practice or even the race. I love Monza it's one of my favourite tracks. John Privett
Well, at least that's one person who doesn't need reminding! For the rest, I'll say it again... DON'T FORGET YOUR PREDICTIONS! I did mine at lunchtime, not sure whether to stick with them or go back and change them though... I won't have the benefit of waiting until after P3 as I'll be out all morning - it's touch-and-go whether I'll be home in time for qualifying. I think I'll leave them as they are. Ian Jones
Well after last time I did mine two days ago! Better something than nothing. Had another look today and made some quite severe team changes, times are getting desperate! Ian
Ian Jones
Qualifying has put the cat amongst the pigeons! Should be a fantastic race and by the look of things they might be some more fireworks afterwards - when Alonso throws his teddy, he throws it a long long way. John Privett
Hmmm... Qualifying certainly didn't go the way I was expecting - nor many others I guess! My predictions aren't looking too good at the moment - I should have changed them after all. We'll see what tomorrow brings.
Pete B
I'm letting my head rule my heart this time around - so that's 25 in the bag so far Could all go very pear-shaped tomorrow though.....what can you do about 2 teams that consistently go backwards from their start positions? Pete
Ian Jones
I was going to make a last minute change which would have worked out well for qualifying but at the last second... I didn't . No points so far for me then!
John Privett
Sounds like probably the same change I was pondering Ian!
Tony H
I already have 25pts but if the weather changes to rain the rest of my predictions could go pear shaped
John Privett
Well that's my lead in the league table wiped out, Tony! We'll have to see what the race brings. Current forecasts seem to indicate light rain showers now and in the early afternoon, turning to heavy rain showers later in the afternoon - though seemingly not until after the race is finished. And 'torrential rain showers' in the early hours of tomorrow morning.
John Privett
Hmm, looking a little damp. Could be interesting... Hello 'Columbidae', may I introduce you to 'Felis catus'.
Tony H
Not a bad race I think I scored some decent points but missed out on fastest lap with Lewis taking it in the last few laps
John Privett
Hah! Well I had Vettel and Alonso on my predicted podium - problem is I predicted them 2nd and 3rd. Pole, I already had wrong, and I didn't predict fastest lap (well, Vettel always gets that, doesn't he?) At least I got the lack of safety car right! Quite a bit of action towards the end in the midfield - if not at the front... I think my 'team members' did OK, even if my predictions fell flat. We'll see! Tony H
Humm sounds like John might be back in second after today........shame hahaI predicted both Vettel and Alonso in the finishing places, no Safety car and Pole position but like John says Vettel always gets fastest lap......right? I am expecting around 150+ points unless I am mistaken
Tony H
Poor Lewis I had him down for 3rd and it might have happened.
John Privett
I reckon you're right Tony. At a quick count I'm probably going to get about 100 points today...
Tony H
Unlucky John, at least you tasted the top of the league, albeit briefly now it's time to hand it back to it's rightful owner lol.I may have had my best points race yet even though not all my driver and teams did that well. Pete B
Aound the ton for me, too but once again 3 DNF's screws my points haul magnificently.... Pete

Ah, but Tony, I could remind you who was leading after Australia and Malaysia. And Robin might want to remind you who was leading after China and Bahrain. OK, so we won't mention Spain, Monaco, Canada, GB, Germany or Hungary... Even after today there's still 7 rounds to go - and a lot can change in those 7 rounds! Tony H
This is true John. Still I have to rub it in when I get the chance. Which is around 7 times at the moment Edited By Tony H on 08/09/2013 16:17:
John Privett
LOL, Tony. Now, where's that smiley I'm looking for? Ah, here it is! And I think it's going to be 8 times when badger publish today's scores... Right, in the meantime, whilst waiting for badger to update the tables, there's a (brief?) break in the weather here, so I'm off to lob a glider off a hill until it rains again. (Probably back in ten minutes then!) I'll post the tables on my return. Edited By John Privett on 08/09/2013 17:39:
Tony H
Badgergp is taking ages to update the scores!
John Privett
Just thinking that myself! I wonder if Adam (Mr. Badger) has gone to Monza to watch the race. He's probably sitting in a queue on the autostrada or perhaps in a campsite trying to get wifi or mobile data to work!
