Terry Walters Posted April 30, 2014 Share Posted April 30, 2014 It's a mood thing -anything except Rap and most contemporary french music (I live in France and qualified to say that most contemporary french music is twaddle and on a level with Morrisey!). classical, lots of jazz, country and western, contemporary solo artists, heavy rock military bands (including, of course, pipes and drums), Portugese/Spanish folk, Irish Folk and German Marching songs! All this is thro' my Ipod Docker. You lucky people with DAB access - hasn't reached France yet! I'm hoping to get a 'computer' radio working on a wifi extender for my birthday later in the year so as to reach into the workshop so I can have UK radio on as sometimes you just want company/discussion rather than music. Neither did an addiction to going to loud gigs on a weekly basis for several years nor riding motorbikes for the last 40 years. The result is that I am now very deaf... c'est la vie. I wouldn't change any of it. After that it's a wide swathe of music from Bruckner symphonies to Daft Punk, Youtube favourites such as Flite Test, or Skype chat with mates. On a number of occasions I would have complaints about how loud I was. Loud ! loud ! I would say you want to sit where I am sitting !!!!!!!!!!. Luckily though I have no hearing problems .
