Don Fry
Been cooking all day, eating all evening, and post fueled by Whisky, champagne with rose hip syrup, and Graves. Bottomless glass time. I saw the second half of the Scotland game. Reckon France need stopping from a Slam. They are good aren’t they. I was sat next to a French lady, built like a second row, knows her rugby. Bitch. And bits of England Wales. Can’t see either troubling France. If I supported Wales, I would think, tried hard, fell short, just. As an England supporter, I just do not accept that is acceptable. Mind set not set? Afraid of losing? Bit more unpredictability.
GrumpyGnome
Yu. France looked awesome. Surprised how close Wales got. Don't understand why they want to be 17-0 down before they start playing...... and why they don't understand the rules! Back to basics. Again. Still, good to see Talupe back. Maurice Dyer
Good win for England. But France have their hands on the title.
Ernie
Grown men beating the stuffing out of each other, and the wee guy in red, drawing big squares in the sky..what's it all about? I'm off to watch the blue paint drying on my latest project ernie
Don Fry
Rugby is like a beautiful woman Ernie. Hidden depths to philistines.
Peter Jenkins
Ernie, I won't be joining you watching your blue paint dry! Each to their own but no need to read this thread if that's how you feel. Why not start your own entitled "Watching Blue Paint Dry"? I can tell you now I won't be posting on it because I'll have better use of my time like you clearly have? ?

As for England vs Wales... What a dull game until the last 15 minutes. Were Wales asleep?

Zflyer
Looked to me like the Irish player 2az going down. He certainly 2asnt upright when hit. In fact off he had been it would have been no where near his chin. Card yes yellow for mitigation for me. But heyhi I'm only watching the same game as the tmo
Don Fry
Made the referee make a decision. Don’t argue if it’s not what you want. Still ended up a bit like pulling the wings off flies.

Don Fry
I think the leek is more appropriate John. As a pure bred Welshman, but by misfortune born in England, I know the lads will be eager to stick one over on my adopted country, just to be awkward. Bless! I have increased my secretarial expertise. Beloved is under orders to produce dinner tomorrow. I have fended off a suggestion we host a dinner party next Saturday (three matches!!!!!). Yes dear, what’s cooking. A small mutter was detected. Dinner shifted to Sunday. That’s me. edit, and when I shop next Friday, a bunch of flowers. Cynical, never the word crosses my mind, an appreciation of long suffering loyalty I say. Edited March 11, 2022 by Don Fry
Peter Jenkins
While I will be supporting my second team in the 6 Nations, I fear that the French will be too good for them tonight. I hope I'm wrong!

Don Fry
Well, I thought it was a shoe in for a bit, beat Ireland, take France in Paris. Bit more difficult now. Good French defense.
