Superb, well done indeed. I remember the full size flying out of Newcastle airport in the 1950’s. When the aircraft was standing with the engines idling the tail plane and rudders used to vibrate noticeably!

That looks very nice. Well done to both Don and Steve.

 

This is exactly the type of model I like, one of a subject that we shall never see flying again (and many of us will have never have seen).

 

Sounds good with the Lasers. I bet it flies like a big trainer, with the high wing layout.

We all knew immediately that it was an access hatch and it didn't affect the structure or flight handling.

A magnificent design and build project by Don Billingham, made his own retractable undercarriage too.   Proper modelling, the latest in a long line of fine models designed and built by him
