Peter Jenkins
Is that what you call being strung up? 🤣
Don Fry
I’m not happy with that. How come the bloke/lady? climbing out, had a rope already attached to an outboard strut. And where is the camera operator standing, but the prop is damaged I think. So perhaps it landed/hit the cable, stalled, and rotated. And we are seeing a later visit to the airframe? J D 8
Speaking as a former Coastguard who used to do this sort of thing [ but never a strung up plane] It look like the chap standing behind has been lowered down on a line from a helicopter or crane or some other platform we can not see and is attaching a rescue harness to the chap standing in front. If it were a Heli rescue the it would hover off to one side to keep downdraught away until the two were ready to be hauled away, hence the slack line on the wing. Don Fry
OK, I can live with that JD, and the camera looks like it has a long lens, everything looks a bit flat.
John Lee
It's an obvious photoshop from 3 or 4 images. There is a very slight haze around the 152 and the persons where they have been cropped from other photos whilst the wire changes colour and is thinner as it passes the wheel. J D 8
Looking at that pic again I see the rescuer's torso does not line up with the position of his legs.
Dale Bradly
I think you'll find its real: https://aviation-safety.net/wikibase/142385
J D 8
The Video of the actual incident just shows the aircraft hanging, door open rescue all done, just the problem of recovering the aircraft?
