Toto - maybe just put this one to one side until later and concentrating on enjoying your flying for the weekend on using the model that you have now got sorted out. It's a braw morning up here, likely the same for you - make the most of it, while we've got this flying weather. The Phoenix will still be there in the week and can be sorted later - Peter is right though, 410kv indicates a motor that will need to use a relatively large prop on that cell count- 15" or bigger is likely.

Your getting on the motorway without ever driving before.

With your experience You should only buy models youve actually seen at your club fly with a set up suitable for the plane, your ability and the availability of hands on advice.

Your on your 5th model ? with 10 more in stock, most beginners would still be on there first.

It's all to do with gearing.  A car in fifth gear will not work well if you try and pull away in that gear.  If you only want to do 30 mph, 2nd gear is great as the acceleration is acceptable and your top speed of 30 mph will be achieved flat out = high kv.  If you want to go faster, change gear to a higher one = reduce the kv.  It's not an exact analogy but it serves to illustrate the point.

Ordered.

I had a 40 size of the same make ...... always the same ..... never the one you need.

Anyway ....... done. Snakes have arrived as well.

Only issue is my ESC is an 80A and this motor quotes 85A peak .....

You wont be getting anywhere near those amps so dont worry 80 amp will be fine.

I expect the 85amp is already on its way😂

Hi Learner

I have a couple of overlander 80A ESC's.

The IC60 as per Earlybirds post is indeed on it's way.

I have not had a lot of shed time as things between home and work are going ballistic .... :classic_biggrin: I have so much time this week but next week is blown out the water as I have a trip to Belgum co ing up but I don't know exactly when. Still..... good be be working again. ..... more hobby tokens ...... :classic_biggrin:

Hopefully that will be the Tiger 3 60 sorted going forward.

Cheers
