Tom Wilson
I have a problem with my MC24 Tx. The elevator stick is faulty and needs a new potentiometer. I tried sending it to "D-Power" in Germany on the 6th August this year and after many phone calls and emails to "Parcel Force Worldwide" I received it back a few weeks ago never having reached it's destination as Customs refused acceptance as it did not comply with articles 28 & 29 of the Treaty for the functioning of the "European union" (whatever that all means). Pot required is a 13mm dia. linear 440 ohm. or if someone has a an old Tx for spares or repair. All of the 4 pots must be of the same value as the transmitter can be changed to any of the 4 modes
Nigel Dell
Modelradioworkshop I would give Mike Ridley a call, pretty sure he can help.
Edgeflyer
Stupid idea maybe but I've found that a couple of squirts of switch contact cleaner can sort things out. Worth a try.
kc
Before spending money to repair a faulty Tx perhaps you should consider whether it could be cheaper or more worthwhile to buy a new Tx. The other stick will have had just as much use and reliability is the main thing on any Tx. The battery could be old, and new Rx unobtainable? Depends how many Rx you have already but repairing might not be worthwhile. Are the Graupner Rx compatible with any of the multi protocol Tx? Sheepish
Another vote for Model Radio Workshop. I have used Mike Ridley several times in the past for radio repairs and he is always helpful and fair with his charges.
Wookman
Mike Ridley is your go to man. He helped me out with that exact issue several years ago. The MC24 is arguably one of the best Txs ever made and well worth repairing. I wouldn't want be without mine.
Nigel Dell
In this throw away society it’s good to keep hold of a bit of quality!
Stuart Z
Similar unit to the Futaba FC28. Both great radios.

Just an observation, thats a very low value compared to most, 5k is ubiquitous, would it be worth double-checking or are you certain its 440 ohm? Unless - is it the trim pot thats broken, rather than the elevator pot? Edited November 25 by Phil Green
