Just swopped the leads over from one side to the other so that's not it. Spent another frustrating half hour trying to change inputs etc. Think the chip has gone west , time to buy another dual charger, any suggestions? (up to 5s)

Thanks Denis, will examine the leads tomorrow, haven't seen the message to the right though. Got the battery high voltage on one output so can examine that one.Batteries were discharged so perhaps unbalanced but tried different cells, same with all so suspected charger. Thought at first it was on lion setting, lower voltage. The other Toolkit RC charger, got that same message on one output then looked up online instruction and reset. Cured. Batteries plug straight into that one , so no leads involved .

Had one of these for 5 or so years and one output has begun showing error BATTERY HIGH VOLTAGE, the other output performs ok. The setting for cells is correct as is the type of battery, identical to the other output. I also have a Toolkit RC Quad which appears to share the same chip, it began showing the same , cured by resetting , however the Sigma does not have a reset function. Anyone experienced this ?

Even before the advent of EV one could see now and then scorch marks on the road left by a vehicle fire. Maybe ten years or so ago I had to drive past a burning vehicle on the motorway. The use of high pressure and common rail fuel injection was given as a risk factor in crashes leading to introduction of G triggered cut off switches

Two FT Spits in our club now, both superb flyers,, ,,, lightly loaded makes a good and forgiving plane

You want the flight pack to be quickly removed and replaced so a magnetic hatch with the battery restrained , some times in two axes by velcro, grippier the better

Arrived at the field expecting a quagmire after the floods last week, amazingly I could drive through the gate up to the strip. Sunny but a strong westerly at only 10 degrees so put on the winter gear and got out the Lidl fan glider which can handle any thing. Bob and Geoff flying Volantex 109 ,Mustang , Spit etc.which just shrug off wind. Spent most of the time in the shed with the flasks warming up.

Even with slab sided fuselages errors can occur, when I first started with depron slabs a banana resulted so had to throw it away and got out the Slec jig

Got one purporting to be from my daughter, saying broken phone and using friend's, first word was MUM which gave the game away. Not too bright.

Coasting in gear provides a braking effect ( greater or less depending on the gear, low gear equals more) try a four stoke motor bike. Coasting in neutral is probably frowned on because of less control?

Make sure the throttle trim is right down as far as it will go

I guess the old timers here know this trick?

Too many wise guys on this forum , you dont get away with anything -
Sunderland is only cartoon scale , always had an itch for one so set to with 3 view and a big lump of blue foam. Resulted in a lot of debris and a suprisingly light fuselage. Wing made from grey depron , quad esc at centre section and a lot of wires, four more than individual esc's, all made up to a very heavy wing (four motors too of course} which disappointed me, I thought the quad esc would simplify and lighten. Flies nice though, session curtailed by a wing bolt mount coming unglued.

My first Lidl glider build was EDF on top , second twin boom prop pusher Venom , third maidened on Wed this week, twin boom Venom EDF, too early after just one flight for full report but fantastic glide, ended up 40 yards overshoot past end of strip so promising -

Twin mustang ,two batteries for balance I built a few years ago had me stumped until I slaved one throttle , should work with identical ESCs . One motor started a fraction later, but not noticeable in the air. -
In line with Leccys post above our club has derived insurance for many years from our local sports council. Thus every one is covered, but only at our site. However since many members have already BMFA insurance we propose to cut out double insurance and make it a condition to have BMFA or Equivalent only .

Last week plans were announced for a huge solar farm in England two thirds of which were prime agricultural land and the rest woodland and rough grazing. I have a smaller but still quite big installation four miles away, I suppose it could be used for sheep but when we import half of our food it seems such a waste
