  1. I buy my fuel in a 20lt can, i have a fuel pump from HK with a filter and a non return vale on the 6mm line that go's in the can through the hole where the cap fits i seal this off except for a small air hole, the pump is always fixed below my bench and the pipe from the pump to the heaters tank is fitted to the filler cap of the tank I made a float that shows me the height of the fuel lever made from a small bottle and plastic pipe , i just hit the fill button and watch the float, my heater is completely hidden under a low bench with no access to fill it, mines the 5kw Works a treat
  2. I feel ok about all the rules and regulations now, i quit the hobby and im doing something else, much happier as a result
  3. Ihave 2/3 rolls of natural Solartex along wit other gear that could be up for sale soon as im giving up the hobby, i dont like all the regulations that go with in this country

When i lived near Wellingborough Brian i had my Transit tipper truck stolen, the police found the guy that nicked it and rang me from the police station to tell me they had found him , but if i wanted to have him prosecuted i would have to take out a privat prosecution as he was one of the upstanding members of the community from the travelers camp, never got my truck back
  5. We used to have drifters on our patch in Cyprus, a dried salt lake as you say annoying but funny when they got it wrong and hit the rough on the edge of the lake, over they went never did see anybody go help them
  6. Hot ? i managed to take off my thermal vest yesterday as i was doing some digging, thats the third time since i moved back here from Cyprus last September

I have just binned my third dremel only 1 year old, it just packed up, i certainly will not be buying another, on the other hand i have a Parkside cordless one and its brilliant, also fitted the Bangood £3 chuck to it, i ind the Parkside tools extremely good value fro the money and very reliable
  15. I have a 1/3 scale Bucker Jungmiester around 19lb looking for a quiet engine, so yes i would be interested in a reduction gear and test engine , and its ready to fly
  16. I have just built a new workshop/shed insulated with 100mm in all walls, the ceiling and under the floor, double glazed the windows, i have one of those diesel lorry cab heaters and in the winter i switch it on for 20 minutes and it keeps the heat in all day,

  18. Its gathering dust in a factory unit, it was ready for ginal painting, could not sell itI had to leave my 1/4 F104 Starfighter in Cyprus when i returned to live in the UK last year as it was 30 kg
  19. I have just got hold of a Mercury Crusader plan and have oedered the wood from Slec, its my next build, won a few comps with one of these in the 1960s. I can find me a llittle patch of round to fly,and i dont need all the dam regs to do so. Nostalgia
  20. I got some of ebay this year i think it was 400 mm wide 600 mm long, and cost about £20 i use to get a 2400x600x50 for 14 euros in Cyprus
