  2. Same here, C drive for operating system and programs, three other physical drives which comprise one large drive for main storage, two other hard drives for backup, all in removable caddies and two portable drives as secondary back up. Nice to find someone else who knows that "data" is a plural word.
  3. Not if you tread on it in bare feet!😧
  4. Brought back memories of Flixborough.
  5. Probably depends on the lipo. My first set of lipo batteries were stored fully charged over one winter as I knew no better, most are severely compromised, effectively useless apart from low current applications and one became spherical when I charged it.
  6. Same here, 3Ah 3s battery discharged at 6 amp with an ISDT100 much quicker than discharging with my Radient Duplex charger which discharges 2 batteries at 0.8 amps each
  7. I believe that the both the Spektrum and Turnigy batteries have built in balancing circuits and so can be charged using just 2 wires. Seems to work for mine.
  8. I never knew they applied makeup to Lancasters, you live and learn!
  9. Perhaps the point he was making was "a lot of electric vehicles were involved so that's why it took us so long to put the fire out"
  10. If it's anything like the DX range I think you have to choose ACRO to have throttle available, SAILPLANE assumes no motor hence no option to reassign. On one of my motor gliders I have both throttle and spoiler controlled from the left stick, function is flipped using a 2 position switch but you have to remember to cut the motor using the motor kill switch before engaging flaps instead of throttling down otherwise it does a spectacular dive!
  11. A fellow club member had numerous problems with a Spektrum Tx, the older silver model without diversity antennae. Eventually found that the aerial had broken where the aerial housing bent through 90 degrees and intermittent make/break would result in periodic loss of signal. A replacement aerial solved the problem. Plenty of other club members, including myself, fly Spektrum and they don't seem to be any more or less reliable than any other brand.
  12. I worked with a guy whose surname was Anusone, work that one out!
  13. You're not paying for labour, you're paying for the diagnostic machine and the regular software updates it requires.
  14. I know that vet, Carol Vorderman works there and she's keeping an eye on your dog. "Vowel, consonant, consonant, consonant, vowel, consonant, vowel, consonant, consonant". She's worked out that he's "IMPROVING".
  15. If you post details of the motors and how many cells in the battery it can be worked out.
  16. I'm no expert but I'll give it a go: The 4050 motor has approx 60% larger volume than the 3648, more room for more/thicker windings. The greater length and diameter allow larger magnets to be fitted producing greater torque. Greater torque will allow you to turn a bigger prop but if you put a small prop on, it will not exceed its kV x V max rpm, it will just draw fewer amps and develop less thrust.
  17. If you change to higher aspect ratio tyres you have to fit wheels with a smaller rim diameter for that very reason.
  18. Early form of duel carriageway:
  19. Is this forum a short Guide to Brownie points? Personally I think it's six of one half a dozen of the other. Brownie points to the first to spot the humour.
