  1. Does that yellow machine do all the work to get the field looking like a golf course Ron?.
  2. I use them for many a model and different paints, it isn't easy to set it up, get the right mix and thickness of the paint, and when that's all done you need a steady hand to keep the right speed to keep the line even,,,not for the faint-hearted,,,
  3. 90+% of our club are M 2, I taught most of them 😇, I fly M 1 and M 2, I did have an awkward take off a few weeks ago M 2 rudder on the right stick, ailerons on the left one, all I can say is that it was exciting missing the fence down the runway.😅
  4. Retracts can be a headache, my new PC-9 mechanical ones are modified my seagull, so far it's cost me a retract servo 😈so mains are now electric, but my Marutaka Spitfire is still good with it's Hanno Pretner mechanicals and Futabe retract servo after 25 years of flying.😃
  5. Maybe it's a weather factor, we have the Mistral in the winter and spring, so it's right-hand circuits, in summer it's the southern breeze so left-hand circuits for the summer flyers.
  6. Hi David, why do you need one ?, I have a few petrol planes and their size makes them stable. Interference = vibration ?.
  7. Yes you can't have enough Spitfires, I have three and 'nearly' a fourth last week, a French company selling an arf 90 one with electric retracts new for 249€ ! Too late for my Lazer 90, it's going into a PC-9,,
  8. One neighbour is making one into a garden playroom for his kids, and another neighbour has his garden tools in it, and a 3rd on our club field with a couple of mowers and planes in it,,,
  9. Parcels are a big problem today with the usual 'covid' excuse, I bought a 2.08m second hand Stuka in 2010, it was sent from the top of France to me at the bottom, it arrived at my local sorting office 2 klm's down the road, they phoned me to pick it up as the two boxes wouldn't fit in their van, two trips with my old Peugeot, 407SW a big estate and only one would fit at a time and the back door wouldn't close, last year they wouldn't accept my little Quickie 500 as the box was over 1.20m, ( 1m29 )
  10. I pay my electric, water and a few other bills, it saves the big company's empting your bank account when they make a mistake, which is always your fault !
  11. France is different, our club is 90% cheques, the rest in cash.
  12. You are obviously talking about me, I 😅did all that and still do,,,
  13. Or just a coat of mat varnish will make it disappear with the brush marks.
  14. To stop the Prosynth saga, and any complaints please send your unwanted Prosynth fuel to me, care of,,,,,🤣 And while you are at it, any 4 strokes to be binned,,,😇
  15. 3 drops of super glue, and up into the blue yonder again,,,
  16. No, that's when the motor falls off, Paramotor,,, https://www.bhpa.co.uk/sport/power/paramotor/
  17. The French eu importer says no,,,http://www.aviotiger.com/telechargement.php?menu=8 It's in the top yellow line,,,
  18. My Enya 120 4c also threw props, as one of my 2 Saito 100's did, both tamed with a shim.
  19. No chance, even Free !, I used to do the Avignon faire the last being in 1995, even free it ended up as a wash-out, we also had the 'Arles" extravaganza, dead and buried for the last 20 years, there isn't any money in model stands any more, everyone is on their 'smart' phones getting a couple of pennies off somewhere,,,🤢
  20. Rubbish phone zoom x4 a broken down Rafale being towed by a Bronco over my place this afternoon.😅
  21. £150 to see Lowes in the kitty litter and Rea 7th,😅 you can get a 3 day Pass at Barcelona for £70 and see Zarko in the kitty litter and Quatararo 15th,,,🤣 I went to the 70th Patrouille de France, 10am to 18h non stop but no Lancaster or Hurricane for 21€ a real bargain,,,
