  3. I wouldn’t be without mine it’s a myford ml7 Which is a great machine ,mainly because there are loads of accessories readily available
  4. I used my lathe to turn the spinner nut to. mimic the locking nut which worked well

  6. I have thought about measuring internal resistance but I don’t have a fixed resistor .What value would be appropriate for 6 s lipos .

  8. If it’s glass chop it’s got to be polyester ,epoxy won’t work with chop due to silicone which is used to hold the chop together . If it’s glass mat it could be ether so smell it

  10. I have futaba and jr servos that I have had for 30 years ,and have been well used ,that are still working as well as the day I bought them . How cheap were these ?

  12. Looking good chaps . I’m watching with interest .I am finishing my ju88 at the moment ,the la 7 is next on the building board .I am going electric ,my thinking at the moment is to make some of the front decking removable for battery access . Have you any thoughts ?
  13. If it’s the same as one I owned years back the valve seats are phosphor bronze so grinding paste doesn’t work well .I had the seats recut ,it took a 45 degree cutter if I remember correctly
  14. Never could tell the difference between a lean or rich cut !!
  15. I prefer screws ,it’s easy to plug pulled out screw holes after a difficult landing .The same landing with captives can lead to pulled out u/c plates and a right mess
  16. Maybe but the whole thread is about pva which is fairly safe so a casual reader may get the wrong message
  17. This looks more like the foaming PU glue not the aliphatic
  18. In my experience 2 volts is too much for most glow plugs but OS F types are fine .
  19. 2 volt in series won’t work well , 2 volt in parallel is fine
