John Privett
Lee - I'd like to know how you 'arranged' for the DC3 to be flying past! Or is it a regular visitor in your part of the world? I wish I'd had a camera with me on any of the many occasions when I could have got one of my models with a Concorde in the background, overflying us en-route to LHR. Not a sight we'll see again... John, we knew the DC-3 was due at an event taking place very close. David Havercroft who was flying the Extra saw it coming in and positioned his model in exactly the right place, I just happened to spot what he was doing and managed to grab the shot. Credit must go to his flying as well.
