Flying Flea
Hello to everyone, Just a few words to introduce myself. My name is Kieran and I live in North Manchester, England. I'm 52yrs and been interested in anything that flies since I was born, I started off like many with Airfix, Rubber Power and later C/L in my Teens ( A Lo-o-ong time ago) I got into Hang Gliding in the 80's and went onto microlight flying in the 90's. I've always wanted to have a go at RC, but never managed to take the big step and actually do it. I've always tried to keep upto date with things through the great Mag and with this excellent web site. It really is amazing how far model flying has gone in these last few years and to see how people use all these new materials for model building, it's been a real inspiration to have a go myself. Keep up the good work! Regards to all.

Danny Fenton
Good to have you with us Kieran, look forward to following your progress. You aren't wrong this hobby moves along at a fair pace, and it is a struggle to keep up with all the trends. When you open an old modelling mag from the 50's and 60's many things are still done the "old fashioned" way, which is great. But as you point out, we have newer materials now so there are many ways to skin a cat, thats the bit I find fascinating. Cheers Danny
