bouncebounce crunch
All of us have used the fingers technique to see if our models are balanced, i'm sure, so this product may be of some use.
Ian Jones
Hmm, well BBC I have to confess balancing models wasn't the first thing that came to my mind when this page loaded. It was a two handed launch of a large model .

Chuck Plains
Hmm, not sure that your neighbours will 'grasp' the correct idea when they see that on your window sill.
sharpy1071
Hi all, on a slightly more serious note, when I have found the correct CofG, I place a small kitchen cabinet door buffer on the spot, they can be bought from B&Q for a sheet of 100 for about £2.00. If i've not made myself plain they are about 5mm dia half a sphere and are self adhesive. So all you have to do is place your fingers on the spot and job done! Peter Miller
I use a different idea. I take about three layers of Solartrim and cut two small arrows. I stick these on the exact location of the CG. One advantage is thgat one can use the same colour as the model and so hide the marks such as on a scale subject or one can use a contrasting colour. Roger Mason 1
All my models have the CG location marked with round-headed pins. The pins are located under the wings either close to the fuselage or at the tips, depending on the model, and provide a much more accurate balancing point. The pins are cut short and only enter the airframe by 3-4mm. They can easily be relocated if trimming proves that the CG has to be relocated.
