We're almost at the start of the season now,  and the results of the 2 practice sessions so far make interesting reading.  Verstappen has headed both sessions,  but with Perez in the other Red Bull well adrift,  two-thirds of a second slower.  Norris has finished 3rd in P1 and 2nd in P2,  with Ricciardo in the other McLaren a fair way back.  Mercedes are going to have a battle here,  that much seems clear!

So,  I'll repeat the customary reminder;  Don't forget your predictions - and remember,  you can always change your predictions tomorrow after P3 if that gives you more of a clue!

Qualifying is at 3pm (UK time) tomorrow,  with the race at 4pm (after we put the clocks forward!) on Sunday...

... thanks, John P... all ready to go for the new season.

I guess they are all showing their 'poker face' so far... there should be some nominations for the 'Nobel Prize for Sandbagging'.

In a few hours now, we'll know a bit better for sure.

Cheers & good luck to all

Chris

Great score of 175 from John S to take top spot in our league today.

And only 2 points behind on 173 is Glenn Philbrick - great debut score Glenn!

And not too far back on 162 is Chris.

Well done to the top 3 today!  The rest of us trail a little bit further back...

I thoroughly enjoyed the race today.  The result was uncertain right up to the end and a fair bit of overtaking throughout the field.  I hope the season continues as we saw today,  it looks like Red Bull are going to put up quite a fight this year.

Next up in 3 weeks is Italy - don't forget your predictions!
