Spikey
Just now received my first piddling little order from ModelFixings. All correct, all beautifully packed, and complete with a proper invoice/recipt. I emailed them the order less than 19 hours ago!
Dwain Dibley.
I have to agree, and these boys don't care how big or small your order is, it's always the same spot on, top notch service. D.D.
Martin Harris - Moderator
100% success rate in getting the items ordered next day. A fine example of how to get a loyal customer base - they are my first choice for fixings....
Steve Hargreaves - Moderator
Yep agreed......if I need bolts & screws Modelfixings is where I head......
andy watson
My default supplier.................. although they seem to sell so many little bits and pieces I really really need that that cheap packet of screws I need always seems to cost more than I meant! Adrian Smith 1
Yes ModelFixings are a gem to deal with. All my nuts & bolts come from here plus glues too. I always get my replacement engine bearings from here......top notch! Keep up the good work folks as such good customer service is not always easy to find. MF replaced free of charge didn't want the old ones back. Checked out the next shipment for quality control. They are masters of customer care.........and you can tell I said that Edited By cymaz on 21/05/2013 12:37:

Rob Lewis
Am i the only one with a slight negative here then? I admit i've never had any problems with anything i've ordered, always excellent service. But a few months ago i emailed them enquiring if an item was available in a different size. Nothing, not a squat recieved back. About a week later i tried again. Still no response. Someone else got my business and modelfixings got a negative mark in my black book. Haven't been back since.

Rob Lewis
Posted by cymaz on 23/05/2013 06:42:19: Phone them up, they won't bite Thats all well and good if i can get to a phone to ring them during office hours. Most of my modelling time is late at night when only the internet is open..... But surely that shouldn't make a difference, if they advertise an email address on the website it should be answered. That said, it won't stop me going back again if i can't get something elsewhere, they just won't be my first port of call.
cymaz
Sorry Rob, I'm lucky to be home in the afternoon. Writing to them could be another idea.
Rob Lewis
A stamp costs more than most of their screws these days, lol. I don't need the bits anymore so no harm done. Hopefully it was just an oversight as usually you only hear good things about them.
Stevo
Another vote for them. Thier hex headed servo screws are excellent - I use them for everything!!! HOWEVER I have used the larger version (3mm) and the head strips instantly. But I've purchased allsorts from them. Excellent service indeed. John F
Anyone know if there's an issue with their website or have they gone under? I placed and received an order two weeks ago but had no luck for the past two days getting on their website for another order.

Stevo
No...No...No....... None of thier pages are working at all...I placed an order before Xmas and it took a while to come through though. This really is a tragedy if they have gone under... Anyone recommend anywhere else???
Graham Biddulph
Yes, just tried the website also, GONE.
Dave Miller
Looks like sever trouble; it would not be the first web site to go down for a while, and most certainly will not be the last.
Martin Whybrow
Seems they have a history of their website going down, judging by comments on other forums; the domain is still registered to them but the error message (403) is forbidden rather than page not found, which seems to indicate a deliberate removal of the page, possibly nefariously. Let's hope they haven't gone under. Oh, has anyone tried ringing them????
Stevo
just spent the last 10 mins looking for a number...
