Danny Fenton
This might interest the "fairing club" The paper tape is placed flat against the curved panel, and you can see that each end touches the rivet, but the center has a gap. The panel has a rearward curve...... Cheers Danny
Nigel Day
Ah, dopey here has just woken up to what the tape's for. Doh!
Danny Fenton
LOL you crack me up Nigel There are little dots of blue tack (well actually yellow tack) at each end of the tape to keep it in place without marking the aircraft surface. Useful when you are taking pics of detail items and you want to get an idea of the size It also helps to give average rivet spacing for those that are going that far Cheers Danny
Nigel Day
The very least I can do is to amuse you Danny. "It also helps to give average rivet spacing for those that are going that far". Thanks for returning the favour.
Danny Fenton
I have reduced the images to a smaller size so that they can be sent. I want to use a bit of software called wetransfer, I have just given it a test with Chris Bott and it seemed straightforward enough. If anybody wants the pictures send me a PM with your E-Mail address before 6pm tomorrow (Saturday) and I will send them on to you. You will get a link to click and a cookie to accept. The files will then come down to you as a zip file. Cheers Danny

Danny Fenton
Posted by Nigel Day on 21/02/2015 08:39:29: Will three hours, both nights be enough Danny? I have only booked the one session so better use a video camera and wave it around. Anybody tried using the phone to create a panoramic 360 degree cockpit view? I will get there, those of you that frequent RCSB Mike Chilson has a copy too, so they will be available through that means also. Terry Walters
Thanks Danny - very comprehensive and the state of the structure may well help me to get mine to look 'scale'. I got over 300 downloaded - would that be about the grand total? Terry

Nev
Thanks for the photos, there are some quite chunky bits of detail that I should be able to manage at least. Good photos. Nev.

Silver Wolf
Just like to add my thanks for the photos. With all the work done by Danny and all those that have nearly complete airframes I don't want to let the side down, so must really get some building done. Danny Fenton
Hi chaps and thanks for the kind words. I wanted to get pics anyway so it was no problem to share, especially as the method of distribution worked so well!SW I shouldn't worry too much, the build never was a race there are several that haven't started yet Cheers Danny
