Phil Winks
I would've though Erfolg that given the friendly atmosphere at Greenacres there will be no shortages for those that feel the need for a launcher though to be fair the average size of a fun fighter is such that most will be able to launch their own, mind you that said, on a busy flight line it is often prudent to have some one do it for, you allowing the pilot to keep a proper eye on the circuit during launch. Chris Barlow
A helper would indeed be a good idea as after launch the pilot has to find his way into the pilots box, which can be quite crowded at Greenacres at the best of times! Ben Kelly
I don't think this has been answered already but if I wanted to fly at the RCM&E fly-in, do I have to pre book as a pilot or is it just a turn up and fly kind of deal? Also do you need a 'B' cert or is an 'A' good enough?? Regards, Ben
Steve Hargreaves - Moderator
Just turn up & enjoy the madness Ben.....it's just like a club flightline albeit a very busy one You do need an A certificate to be able to fly there though.... cymaz
It's busy but great fun.....even my wife has a really good day....she finds it very relaxing The flight line can get busy, the marshalls , helpers and Tx tent do a superb job. Hats off to these guys
Chris Bott - Moderator
Don't forget you'll need to prove you have insurance and that you have at least an A cert. You'll have to book in and pay for the day's flying too, of course.

Chris Bott - Moderator
I'm not close enough to what's going on this year Andy. (Much other stuff going on in my life just now.) Is there something specific you'd like to ask about?
David Ashby - Moderator
Posted by cymaz on 15/02/2015 08:29:59: No news about the logo for Greenacres then I was a little slow off the mark this year but, yes, our designer is working on a logo for 2015. Slopetrashuk
Hi Chris. No nothing specific. But i'd hate for Reg to acost me while my car is still running after arriving (like he did at the last event last year), quoting rule changes and what is allowed / not allowed, that nobody else was aware of. If there are to be 'Reg's Rules' of ANY kind, they need to be known up front and in advance of patrons loading and travelling, not made up over the weekend. cymaz
With you there on that one...it will be a real kick in the stomach to come all the way from Cornwall and something has changed 10 mins before hand. They know people and pilots enjoy the weekend, it's superbly run, it's a lovely site, great atmosphere. Please don't keep any rule changes to the last minute. Chris Barlow
Like it! Not as appealing to people who didn't build an Atom but there's still time! I suspect the Atom might be the most popular mass build model there anyway.
Martyn K
I think that is guaranteed Chris. I suspect some none mass build Atoms will be sneaked in as well
john stones 1 - Moderator
We'll be needing to concentrate with a mass fly if they all turn out for G.A John

IanR
Thinking about 4th/5th July, will there be a facility for disabled drivers? I am "walking wounded" not wheelchair bound but would not want to walk too far to the spectating area if parking is on a first-come first-served basis.
