John Smith 50
I am looking for a prop for one of these http://extremeflightrc.com/91-Extra-300-RedWhiteBlack_p_495.html the recommended is a Xoar 24 x 12 wooded, but can't seem to find one in the UK. What other makes are their which are good quality? Are MenZ any good.

bert baker
Why not ask your local mdoel shop (LMS). I bet they could do with your suport.
ChrisB
Falcon props supplied by Steve the PropGuy. Very good prices and always in balance, more can be said for most of the Menz props i've had over the years. CB

Biggles' Elder Brother - Moderator
You don't need an electric! True it would be a bit lighter - but frankly at this size you are fine with the gas one! I often us so-called "gas" or "IC" props on electric powered models. Geoff S
I've always thought it was OK to use props intended for IC on electric models but not vice versa because electric specific props are less robust and usually lighter. ben goodfellow 1
If you intend to to 3D . The flying style this model is designed for. you want the lightest prop you can get so you don't get flywheel wffect . It wants to be both de and accelerating as fast as possible . The real Ron Truth
For large electric props, try fiela sold by electric wingman. Superb and much stronger than those already mentioned esp around the tips. When compared to even the lightest IC wooden prop they are superior. Lightness is essential to keep the amp draw down. https://www.electricwingman.com/fiala-wood-propellers.aspx

Biggles' Elder Brother - Moderator
What makes you say that an EF extra is "designed for 3d" Ben? Sure they are popular for that, but they are also popular for flying IMAC and F3A style aerobatics. Hell, some people even sports fly them as they fly so well. I have one and don't generally engage in "hanging around"!It's dangerous to make assumptions!BEBEdited By Biggles' Elder Brother - Moderator on 10/09/2016 09:43:
