Dean Pollock
Hi to everyone, I'm a long time modeler, and builder since the 50's, and am always interested in meeting and chatting with other model enthusiasts. I love scale models, and love WW1, and the Golden Age 30's biplanes. I have always had a penchant for the Hawker line of biplanes, and consider them some of the most beautiful biplanes ever designed and built, especially the Fury,Nimrod, Tomtit as well as all the others. I'm hoping to get started on a Fury this spring. I also enjoy aviation photography, and love taking pictures of models in the air. David Davis
Welcome from me Dean! I'm finishing my latest Baron in inter-war RAF colours and plan to compete with it in La Coupe Des Barons in September near Grenoble, France. What you've never heard of La Coupe des Barons? Have a look at this and scroll down to "Video Coupe 2018." **LINK**

Handyman
Hi Dean and welcome to the forum,it's is a hell of a site with lots of clever and informative people on here,(but don't tell them I said so,they might get ideas above their station). Me, I tend to prefer high wing aircraft of early years and the bigger the better so that I can see them easily. Its a cracking hobby. Just wished the Wife understood the attraction. I also like to fly early aircraft, presently a Bleriot XI and WW1 biplane. John.

kc
Dean, I think those of us here in Britain would be interested to hear what aeromodellers in USA are doing if it differs from what we fly at British clubs. Let us see a few photos.......
