Tony Nijhuis
Mark,The cnc pack contains the fuselage formers, fuselage sides S1 to S4, tail and wing ribs and a few other bit and pieces...mostly all the time consuming bits that are a pain to cut out ...further wood is as listed on the plan.Tony

Richard Duvall
The build photos show an electric motor; will it take an IC?
Tom Foreman
Yes, both options are shown on the plan. I'm going to go electric, but it looks like you have to take the wing off to change the battery, could be a bit of a pain, but a small inconvienance, I wonder if it is worth modifying to include a battery hatch?Tom
Doug Ireland
This model is a MUST for me to build! I'll be going for the IC version as I'm one of these middle-aged chaps that really don't mind cleaning a model after a days flying. In fact, one of my mentors said it was good way of checking for incidental damage. As for the CNC pack, I'm with Myron on this one. If you're going to build then build; if you want to ARTF then ARTF! The problem I have is I don't think my thumbs are up to the challenge of piloting a model of this class... but I do enjoy building!
Brian Lambert
Doug I have no direct experience with this model but I would not expect it to be a problem flying it. It is not a Spitfire, it should not be much different to a low wing sport model like an Acrowot. Go for it, let us know how you get on!Brian
Fanyak
Dear Tony, I am a deeply in love with Yakovlev planes such as Yak 18t, Yak 9 and Yak 52. I have search plans about them but I have not found them. I would like you to design this planes some day. They are very little known but very beautiful. Many thanks and sorry for my boldness. Regards.
colin milne 2
The build photos are great! It would be a great help if this sort of help was available with every set of free plans for us rookies at building. Colin
Chris Bell
Yes thanks for the Photo's Tony. Just have to sort a motor out now then its away we go.. Chris
Kris1
I was looking at the plane and I intend to load the battery from the front I not sure how this would work out as the formers could be in the way. It would help getting the CofG forward though. I intend to use a Hyperion 4025-10 which is quite a heavy lump up front.CheersKris
john powles
Hi everyone out there my bug about this plan is when are they going to do a pair of wings instead of just one & also put a tail on the fuselage complete & also half a tailplane . if you are going to print a plan do it properly -even if it is a free plan it costs extra over the normal price of the mag.
Doug Ireland
Hi John, I agree 100%! I intend to build this model but it would be so much easier with full-size plans. I would be more than willing to pay extra for them. One of the more prolific designers that submits plans to the magazine (Peter Miller) will provide copies of his draft plans that are full size if requested. If he can do it then why not others?
Des Richards
Hi all - can someone out there help me. I live in New Zealand and have been unable to get a copy of this issue - dead keen to build it but need the mag and plan. many thanks in advanceDes
Brian Lambert
The plan is available from "My Hobby Store" and a PDF coppy of the artical from the mag is on Tony's web site Hurricane hope that helps
john powles
Doug .I traced the plan & got it reprinted in a mirror image & also had it reduced by 15% so I could use a smaller electric motor & battery etc. the cost was for the full size was a bit to expensive on setup.
