You've definitely changed to default theme at the bottom of the page? Because that has worked for everyone else, including me when I tried it. Incidentally on my desktop PC Windows 11, chrome browser with Duck Duck go search engine and ad block it even gets rid of the header as well as the annoying in-between adverts. I'm at the moment on my Android tablet with Chrome browser using default theme and I get the pesky adverts. Oh yes and Malware bytes paid for on both machines. As Martin has said, adverts are separate but possibly related issue. The main problem was the blank pages when scrolling through a thread. kc
Well it appears that the problem with using the Darker theme has now been fixed. Using the Darker theme now works just as it did before - going back a page works again- so no need to use the default theme. I prefer the larger type and higher contrast of the Darker theme which also seem to produce a better layout.
Martin Harris - Moderator
I've checked using both themes and I'm seeing no blank pages. I would suggest that no further posts are required to confirm the forum has reverted to its previous functionality. If anyone is still experiencing the problem, don't hesitate to highlight it.
Andy Stephenson
The two themes look identical on my monitor as far as "darkness" is concerned, the only difference is the font size which can easily be zoomed. What is it about the darker theme that is actually darker, I'm not seeing it.

Ace
In my preferred Darker mode the print appears slightly darker where as default looks more grey ish and less distinct, plus fills more of the screen rather than a narrow band down the middle of the page. Martin Harris - Moderator
On my PC there's a massive difference in the "paper" colour. The default scheme is white and the dark scheme is quite grey .
