Wookman
Anybody out there in radio land got one of the old type balance bars that they are never going use? Like this one It apparently the early type. The later cranked type makes it impossible to close the case with it in the correct position.
MattyB
I have one, but that TX is still in use. Do you know anyone with a 3D printer who could knock one up for you? Edited June 12, 2023 by MattyB
Ron Gray
T9 will probably have them in stock (about £5?).

PatMc
It could be the Taranis Neck Strap & Bracket listed here.

The latter ones have a crank in them, and it sounds like the OP does not want one of those, though I suspect the foam in the case could be adjusted to take it. 5 hours ago, Outrunner said: Would you risk your TX and possibly a model on a 3d printed piece of plastic? I don’t see why not. The Taranis is a light TX, you could easily oversize the bar width to add strength if you were worried, and people use 3D printed plastic in way more high stress areas than that these days. MattyB
It looks like there are cheap aftermarket ones available on eBay, some designed for a vertically oriented attachment point, others a horizontal one. No idea on quality or whether they will meet the OP’s needs though… https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_nkw=Metal+4-Hole+Transmitter+Neck+Strap+Balancer+Adjuster&_trksid=m5467.l1311 Edited June 13, 2023 by MattyB
Neil R
I've got one, from my old Taranis, exactly as your pic. I don't use neck-straps, so you'd be welcome to it. PM me your address and I'll put in the post. No charge, just pay it forward one day! 3

Wookman
12 hours ago, PatMc said: It could be the Taranis Neck Strap & Bracket listed here. Bought that exact one expecting it to be straight. 6 hours ago, MattyB said: The latter ones have a crank in them, and it sounds like the OP does not want one of those, though I suspect the foam in the case could be adjusted to take it. The hard case will not close with the cranked one in place. The problem being caused or perhaps at least compounded by having a DJT module in the back of the tx. The soft case wll zip up but resembles a small marquee!
Wookman
Just picked up a rather nice low mileage X9D+SE so I am now looking for another straight neck strap bar. Anyone able to help? A set of standard stick tops would be nice too as the SE ones better suit a thumb rather than a pinch style.
