How to link throttle setting to elevator trim

Using a Futaba Tx, with assignable switches and mixers, I want to set at least one TX Switch to the throttle position.

 

The objective being to set a small amount of down elevator (the same as having feed in down trim)  to opening the throttle.

 

How would you do it?

Isn't this a simple throttle to elevator free mix on virtually any programmable transmitter?  Experiment with percentage mixing until there's no (or the desired amount) of trim change and, if the transmitter has the capability, use output curves for fine trimming if required.

Trimming the model (airframe) to fly properly is arguably a better quest/solution but if all else fails, mix the problem away.

Make the throttle the master, and elevator the slave. . It can even be put on an exponential curve. 

It will take a few flights to fine tune it to the desired amount of mix.

On a few of my electric gliders I use a mix, adjusting the thrust line on the nose of an electric glider can be quite untidy.

You have 2 sticks, 2 hands, and a computer between your ears. Some models naturally climb with power and/or speed and sometimes there is no other choice than just to fly it. 

 

I have very few models that maintain their trim through the speed range i fly them and holding a good shove of forward elevator is not at all uncommon on a fast pass. 

 

However, you do need to make sure the model is at least as sorted as it can be first. I wouldnt be diving into a mix of any kind before getting the basics sorted.
