  1. Its easier to do that than have to be told to click on something. It has caught me a couple of times but its no real issue.
  2. I find a good wipe with acetone between prints does the job
  3. More Aero Modelling Definitions Servo : Italian waiter Tailspin : convoluted story Tailfin : skinny story Canopy : penniless (try Scottish accent) Wheel Spats : Argument over tyres Ground Effect: scene of crash Spoiler : Club know it all
  4. I have creality ender with self levelling. It gets moved from storage to study when required. I have had no real problem with it and would recommend.
  5. My team have certainly been subject of that and the mockery from pub regulars, well as they say all part of the game. (Anyone got any tissues)
  6. How sad my lunch time, tea time and bath time, and i note once more the tiddlywink league is being ignored. Lol And for those interested I have found a cure for Qatar, Venos. (Is it still available?)

  8. Thanks for running the league. I didnt think I had made any predictions for the last GP so moving off the bottom was great. Next year!!!
  9. I was going to start a new thread if this didn't already exist. I have recently been using Flying Tech and am pleased to put on record the outstanding service I have received. I purchased a Radiomaster and some other items. I had a problem which they promised to look into. The matter was resolved the following day. UK company brilliant and located in a beautiful part of the UK. Thank you Will and Co I will certainly use you again
  10. There back, an unsolicited invoice via mobile message and the good old HMRC via e mail. Obviously after Christmas money.
  11. I take it the Ecalc available on the 'net hasnt been of use. I have used it quite successfully
  12. SORTED. Connect female from wing to nose lead, connect male to extension then plug into rx.
  13. Have the above. There are three wires for the retracts, tow coming from the wing, one being female the other male and the one from the nose is male. (For male read it would plug into receiver). No description in manual and having trouble working how it connects. The one from the nose is very short. Am thinking does extension between nose and female in wing get connected with the other from the wing going to the rx. There is a connection box in the wing which clearly acts as some king of junction box so I assume this would make the relevany connections. This is noy aided by fact no additional wires came with the kit
  14. I don't have the space or the equipment to store all my lipo's individually. The incidents we are aware of occur during charging or shortly after, and/or when damaged either by misuse or accident. Given the amount of items in storage and sitting in model shops I would be interested how many fires occur in such establishments. I would suspect data concerning this would be actively sought when you consider that insurance companies have a vested interest in risk. On that note the question is never asked on household policies nor, to date, highlighted as risk element in policies. (This may change if an insurance employee see's this and suggests it to his employers) As stated mine are stored in ammo boxes, in my garage. The risk there is keeping the flammable material that accumulates in there separate.
  15. Jon you really don't have to keep pushing back. Just refer to which ever page has the advise on and leave them to it. They have paid there more and made their choice(s). If they are being returned to you for repair just chalk it up as another win over ignorance. Sadly I have an engine below the tank in my Tucano with no available method to lower it. Start it inverted and away I go. It bugs me that its designed that way. I bought it secondhand but I truly love it despite the pain in the rear problem. Keep smiling, go easy on the hob knobs and be aware that more of us appreciate you being here than ignore the manufacturers/designers advice and hard won knowledge.
  16. I too use ammo boxes and leave them closed but unhooked so in the event anything does go wrong the expanding gas can escape. I have seen people recommending drilling one or more holes to achieve the same thing but i am loathe to ruin one as they may get used for other things.
  17. I have no problem propping up the rest of the table, after all they are my predictions. That said I am coming to the conclusion that Formula Fantasy FIA would be real test of one's predictions and a lot more entertaining as the rules bend, shift and change and the penalties also have a wide ranging elasticity. One could be top and bottom of the table the same day regardless of prediction.
  18. Yep out today. Wots Wot, Wot 4 MK2 and a flitetest Bloody Barron. All good, no wind, bright sky and lots of sun. No mishaps. Whoopee
