I purchased the RMTX16s and upgraded the gimbals. I use Youtube to aid settinf up and for other things i find useful. It takes a little time to get to grips, i also bound Spektrum rx's and have RM rx's. However i have found the ELRS system to be neat and tidy. I still use my Spektrum kit and have not fallen out with it.

I do love the fact that Government is supposed to incentivise us to purchase an EV along with subsidies to build off/on shore wind turbines. Yet the proposed levy of tax on EV's to use the road and even have a VAT rate applied to the homeowners when charging their EV's raises horror and alarm. Tax pays for all this stuff, it is not Government money, outside of that borrowed it comes out of our pockets. Longer transition period was/is always going to be the way forward.

Have you considered altering the thrust angle of the edf as is done with conventional engines/motors. Please bear in mind i have no expertise in this area but look at it from outside the bowl. -

It formed part of the arguement for inclusion of Remote IDentification. I just chucked it on here so people can see what the CAA do, are doing, given its about collision avoidance.

Conspicuity User Study The UK Civil Aviation Authority, in partnership with Baringa and QinetiQ, is hosting virtual workshops in February to discuss Electronic Conspicuity (EC) device use. The sessions will look at how EC is used to detect airborne threats and how decisions are made to avoid airborne collisions. We are looking for volunteers who are operationally qualified users from the following categories: Specific and Certified Category RPAS Operators Air Traffic Service Controllers Commercial fixed and rotary wing flight crews GA fixed and rotary wing flight crews GA crews not routinely in receipt of air traffic services during flight, e.g., gliding, paragliding, hang gliding, ballooning Participants cannot not have any connection to an EC manufacturer.

Matty B ,being in social media is not pre requisite for using a Smartphone. I am no fan of socialmedia platforms. A mobile is one method of communication. Smartphones like all gadgets have their uses. Sometimes to the detriment of our own brain, its amazing how once upon a time we could remember telephone numbers, addresses and even do arithmetic without them. Ask some of your friends and family to give a number if someone they know without using the mobile. Some cannot even remember their own mobile number. All things have a place, all people have a choice. Yes i have a smartphone but i can function quite well without it.
