I met one of my 'younger' friends ( an old customer) that I gave an old biplane with a cox in it, he said that where he was flying there was an upsurge of small glows, so much so the main model fuel company in France ( Labema) had come out with a special fuel for them.

Spring is here again - who's been flying?
Paul De Tourtoulon replied to GrumpyGnome's topic in Flying Field Reports and Chat
A busy afternoon with youngsters from around the area studying Aeronautics, 20 kids, 4 teachers, a couple of parents and 4 planes on buddy boxes, 12 club members 2 demonstrating with a 20cc methanol Chipmunk and a 3 d flyer with an align 700, including an FPV Bixler, in the picture on the left the club President giving a lecture ( he is a Gendarme 🙃) while the others are flying or watching them,. Finished with the club members drinking a beer after that they had all left. -

Electric is ok if you want to fly something lifeless around the sky, and you are deaf.

No, something to shout about today, however at least 100 yards away from Ev owners.😂

I second that, anything up to 6.000€ subsidies for EV's and a few bob more for your personal charging point in France and some free parking here and there. Not forgetting that we are taxed at 64% on fuel, whereas electric is only 20% !.

If you haven't flown or put a helicopter together, do yourself a favour ang take it to a club where someone has before you do yourself an injury. -
