  2. I have used 4 max motors esc’s and servos with no problem .I don’t know where he gets his stock from though
  3. I have just tried to order a durafly vampire costing £120 they wanted about £120 postage from global I didn’t go ahead .Has anyone had the same stupidity ?
  4. I used the 4 Max recomended prop with an 8 cell battery and I haven’t checked the current draw .Its only had one flight so far it’s well powered but I don’t have much idea of flight time yet
  5. I had one back in the day with a supertigre 2500 It had 3001’s all round with no problem A metal gear on the elivator isn’t a bad idea if you have one

  9. That’s what I made it , there isn’t a law of conservation of volume so it’s not an exact science .Adding 100 ccs of oil to 5000 ccs of petrol doesn’t have to give 5100 ccs of 2 stroke

  13. I wouldn’t be without mine it’s a myford ml7 Which is a great machine ,mainly because there are loads of accessories readily available
  14. I used my lathe to turn the spinner nut to. mimic the locking nut which worked well
  15. Thanks Geoff I remember measuring ir in a level physics ,it was a bit of a performance
  16. I have thought about measuring internal resistance but I don’t have a fixed resistor .What value would be appropriate for 6 s lipos .
  17. Haven’t come across powder bonded chop is it common ?
  18. If it’s glass chop it’s got to be polyester ,epoxy won’t work with chop due to silicone which is used to hold the chop together . If it’s glass mat it could be ether so smell it
