John Privett
Well it's obvious Kevin. It's an "areoplane motor"! It says so in the title... Now, anyone know what an "areoplane" is? But seriously, that's got to be one of the worst listings I've seen for a while. Useless picture (and that's being generous) and a hopeless description. How the heck does he keep a 100% feedback record with listings like that? Although it would be difficult for anybody to claim that something they bought from him failed to match the description! John Privett
I like how it says, "Been used once" but it seems to have consumed half a gallon of fuel!

John Privett
Good point, Kevin! Must admit I nearly put 'he/she', but thought that was a little too 'PC'. But looking at the ebay username, I reckon it's a bloke called Ian! Could be wrong though...

Daithi O Buitigh
I'd have a shrewd guess that any seller whose name starts with 'Ian' is male (now I can't say a lot about his taste in clothes but maybe that's why he's selling them )
Wiltshire Flyer
Posted by cymaz on 30/01/2015 19:59:41: At least she thought of you....give her a hug I did mate 😄 bless her heart, I am a very lucky man 😃 but I had to chuckle! Wiltshire Flyer
Definitely looks like an LEO, from the Deagostini spitfire, I recognise the muffler extension and the horrible greenish spinner. "Used once" also gives it away! Lol (although i have yet to maiden mine) 😳 Edited By Wiltshire Flyer on 31/01/2015 01:15:
Peter Miller
These days there is no excuse for poor photos. This is one of the worst examples
Erfolg
Peter, there may be no excuse, although for me that is as good, perhaps better than I manage.

cymaz
Gosh, that takes me back to my mis-spent youth...there used to be cassette tapes of sound effects of horror. Heads chopping off, screams etc...etc. I realise that the album is of the real things. Did Rick Wakeman play on this album? He did on most vinyl I believe. John F
Posted by Andrew Ray on 01/02/2015 07:51:03: Now you know what to do with used engines. RCV 60 SP How on earth has that got to over £500 when it sells for £200? It isn't as if you can ever get it to fly again. Martin Whybrow
I laughed at his comment: "I have set a very reasonable starting price with no reserve!" - it started at £250!
