Tony Bennett Posted February 5, 2015 Author Share Posted February 5, 2015 fuselage is mostly sheeted and is now strong enough for the tailplane to be fitted. that's it glued in place. next job is to finish fitting the spars to the fin and then the tailplane to fin fairing can be built. So you've decided against the rivet details? I understand on the full size aircraft during the time, they grind the dome heads of the rivets down flush to reduce the drag and hence higher speeds.
