Tony Bennett
had a busy day fitting the nose locating tubes and getting it all to line up and bolt together. i can finish sheeting and covering the fuselage now.
Phil Cooke
Wow - really impressed with the scale of that - any details on your fus joining method??
Tony Bennett
three tubes glued into the nose and fuselage in a triangle pattern, then slide more tubes inside them for strength. four wing bolts with captive nuts then hold it all together. whether it will be strong enough will be found out on the first landing. Tony Bennett
depends on final weight Dave. leaving the motor choice till the last moment but i am thinking of two 1200 watt motors on 5 or 6 s lipo's. trying to keep it as near to 7kg as poss. and Alan us ugly so and so's need to stick together.
