jrman
Thought it worthwhile to start a new thread and pull together all those like minded people wanting Richard to do a new batch of 63" La7s. Not sure how many he needs to but let's make ourselves known.
MattyB
I suggest you ask one of the mods to alter the title of your thread to "Who wants one - Warbird Replicas Lavochkin La7 kit?" or something similar, that way you may get more positive answers. Best of luck!
Jon H
63 inch La7 with an 80 or 90 4 stroke? yum yum...
jrman
Good idea Matty. Any mods looking in who could oblige please and change the title to " Who else wants one - 63" Warbird Replicas Lavochkin La7 kit?"
Bucksboy
Got one, brand new unopened kit. When this whole group of threads started up and Richard explained the difficulties, I thought, I'd better get something quick. I went onto his website and the La 7 was available, nothing else was, so I bought it. I now have the Bf 110 too. And a Traplet Bouton Paul Defiant semi kit that somehow snuck in, I reckon I've got enough to build for a while!
Joakim Karlsson 1
Is there a build thread for the 63" La7 somewhere?
Dwain Dibley.
I would be up for one. D.D.

Glenn Philbrick
I PM Richard some while ago to say that I would also be up for one, lets hope we can get enough for hi to make a viable run. Glenn
Bob Cotsford
Go on then, put me down for one
Joakim Karlsson 1
I do believe that Richards calculations for the price was based on a batch of 10 units.I don't know how many we got on the list at the moment.
jrman
Joakim, According to my list there are 6 of us who have shown interest. Just a few more to go. I'll contact Richard and see if he has had any direct contact.
peter harvey 1
spoke to Richard a few weeks ago, he said that ten kits is a good number, if we can persuade him to run another batch, I will happily put down a deposit before he starts. ps if you contact him again ask about a yak 9 kit
Dwain Dibley.
Just to rekindle interest here, I might invest in this engine for this model. Here is my 57" version converted to petrol with an NGH 9cc engine and E ignition, and petrol pump.
jrman
It's gone a bit quiet on here. We only need another 4 to hopefully get Richard planning another batch pf La7's. Come on fellas, what can we do to get you interested?
peter harvey 1
Well done Richard, have been flying my La7 for two weeks now with total success. Took it down to my club, put it on the grass and got a chorus of "don't like those pointy wings, bet it tipstalls like mad,etc etc"., so being a coward I let our Chairman do the test flight, as he is by way of being our best flyer and does most test flights. After a very extended first flight I managed to get it off him with the comment "I would never have expected that from such a powerful looking warbird, it flies just like a low wing sports plane". Pass the message around and see if we can generate enough interest to get Richard to do a batch of the larger version.
jrman
Well said Peter. I thought people would jump at the chance of getting one of the larger ones but it seems not. A mate in one of the clubs that I fly at says he wants one as well so the list is at 7 now. if you want a larger one that makes 8.Nearly there. Tim Flyer
Put me down for one too please ( LA7 that will take 80-90FS). Might be some time before I can start it though!
jrman
Well done Timothy. That's 9. Keep them coming. I hope Richard is reading this.

jrman
You are certainly on the list I am keeping Joakim. I'm sure Richard is keeping tabs as well.
Tim Flyer
Hi Jon. At some stage I will certainly have to go for another 80 as I do like that size . I might also be tempted to try and squash another 100 into it if possible?so no ballast needed 😉. Ido like Laser 80s though as they are nice and revvy and seem a great all round sports engine and makes my Wots Wot unlimited, as well as performing and sounding the part in my Spitfire. I don't think it's likely to be till much later this year though as I need to start my Seagul P47 first. This LA7 will be a nice winter project 😊. Happy Flying all! Dwain Dibley.
I was gonna say post a list of devotees Jrman, but if you have us all in your little black book that is both weird and cool...... D.D.
peter harvey 1
spoke to Richard today, said he needs 10 to make it viable, I will make the list upto 10 if as he said cost around £180 pounds and keep the second in reserve, or if needed let someone else have it Let me know what he says. Cheers, as I have a laser 80 waiting
