Phil McCavity
If you are having trouble finding one maybe go a bit leftfield? Picture restorers use them to repair ripped canvas.
Rod Parsons 1
You could make one, but typing “covering iron sock” bought up them on eBay for £6.50 delivered.

FlyinFlynn
I made one years ago by brazing a small metal foot onto a soldering iron tip and turned the temp controlled iron down to ~100 degrees.....but I can't find it now like most things in life, it has grown legs and wandered off. Trevor
I use a Protech Sealing Tool. It has limitations, but does work. Trevor

Mike T
Not an ideal solution, but when trying to get some Solartex to stick to the curve of a wing fillet, I used an Xacto style gouge blade* held in some vice grips. I heated this with a hot air gun. In other words, you could heat up any appropriately sized (and held) piece of metal to use as an iron. * from a Lidl/Aldi woodcarving set, IIRC
Glasshopper
I use an Antex craft tool with extreme care on the hot setting for film. Many different shoes are available
