Peter Jenkins
Yikes! As they say, "There are old pilots and bold pilots. But no old bold pilots!"
Don Fry
Not impressed. Pointless publicity seeking idiot. Waste of petrol.

Whilst the actual flying is quite impressive the decision to try and do it is rather less so!
Chris Walby
Sorry, I don't accept as impressive at all. Now if you want real skill try this 😉 Although I am not sure who I would rather be, pilot, crew or the guy on the heli pad with the flags! heli landing on back of ship rough sea - Google Search

My nephew was an RAF heli pilot flying Merlins and they had special training to land in desert conditions because the ground disappears as you get lower because of all sand blown up from the down-draft. I suspect landing when the 'ground' is moving may be even more difficult.
Cuban8
It's an amusing stunt in an aeroplane ideally suited to it, but that's about it. Not really my cup of tea.........Next. BTW......have you ever tried Red Bull? 😝 Edited March 27, 2023 by Cuban8
Ace
Impressive as the turbulence is probably and issue but these guys do it in less than 10', just over 3m, who needs 27m - admittedly in modified aircraft.

Cuban8
My kids left a tin of RB in the fridge after visiting and during a hot day I opened it and took a deep swig..........cold liquid bubblegum is how I'd describe it, horrible stuff. The Marmite effect, I suppose.
