Frank Day
Probably been covered many times. I want to tidy up some servo connections to make wing removal at the field easier. Can I solder all the +ve together and all -ve together and keep the signal wires separate. I've seen the Ashlock items and a similar item at 4Max but by combining them it appears that the bundle could be reduced further
Dickw
Yes you can. I do that with a Multiplex green 6 pin connector on 4 servo wings. Just make sure your chosen connector will handle all the current of the multiple servos on single +/- connectors. Dick
Frank Day
Thanks the 6 pin item looks perfect
Frank Skilbeck
If you think about it, that's what S Bus servos basically do. The only issue can be soldering all the individual +ve and -ve wires together on the plug you can get These.to make it easier. Nigel R
Part of the reason for those connectors is strain relief. Alternatively, hot glue can be moulded around your end result on a normal MPX connector to achieve the same goal.
Andy Stephenson
There are moulds available to create a really neat hot glue strain relief... https://www.t9hobbysport.com/winkler-multiplex-plug-mould-tool There are also 3d printed versions available. Frank Day
Some great items and advice, Many thanks.
Peter Jenkins
Frank, I use Maxlock or Ashlock connectors. You can get them from a single to a 4 plug setup. They have autolocking as well. I use a 4 way connector for my wing and that just needs one connection to be made. See link.
Martin McIntosh
I have posted many times on here about simple multiple connectors which I make and have used for many years on anything which has more than two servos. Can no longer get the pics from this site if course and they are on a different PC but shall try to get them on here if anyone is interested. eflightray
Spend money ? 🙄 Use what you have. A bit of thin ply and double sided tape. On my 82" span Vulcan. Ray
Martin McIntosh
Spend money? The 10 or 12 way JST ones from CPC cost pence.

Frank Day
All great ideas, I'll probably go for the multiplex or the Emcotec MPX 6 pin. I also have the Eflite Fw190 wing to fuss connector block, commercial version of eflightray's suggestion - EFL01373 but that adds even more cable. The model is intended to stay in one piece once built but its a pain. There is a smallish hole where all cables are fed during the build, - its an older gen FMS foamie Zero 1400mm. aidan mcatamney
I have just received these multi servo connectors from Canada. They are excellent. I'm using some of them on the big T28 Trojan. They make life a lot easier.
