Andy Butler
A tad over the top - but this one is outrageous; **LINK**
Martin Dance 1
Interesting that both models in the last two posts are being sold by the same person. Are they his to sell? Is he under instruction to sell by a higher authority e.g senior domestic management? When they don't sell 'Well dear I tried' I suppose I'll have to fly them. Geoff S
Indeed. I actually own a Great Planes Boeing Super Stearman as advertised here. Mine has a Mackay 30cc petrol engine (and it's very quiet with a Krumshied ? Pitts type silencer). I had no idea it was worth so much. It's yours for a grand complete with a spare fuselage Geoff
kevin b
He is a business seller and is probably trying to gauge a new market as he doesn't appear to have sold this type of item before. He obviously hasn't got much idea about our hobby. Or maybe he is chancing it. After all, you can always reduce the price !
trebor
Could be a bit posh down Littlehampton posh pushes prices up.
Andrew Price 2
Surely they'll be too posh to push, trebor!!!
Peter Miller
The posh expect everyone to be as rich as they pretend to be.
DH 82A
As the posh would say, they are " reassuringly expensive" !
trebor
Being born and dragged up in the north, moving down to Southampton everybody down here is posh to me
Andrew Price 2
That must be why I'm so confused. I am the product of good Yorkshire stock, but, born in Harrow!!
Kevin Fairgrieve
I guess they are about 2mm each. So £3.50 for 12 makes that some very expensive fuel tube. WOW Kev
Peter Miller
Well, for someone who doesn't know how to use a scalpel probably worth it

jonryan
Here's a bargain. Especially for those who know nothing about RC flying. Especially about prices. This actually makes me more angry than amused. Some youngster may have set his/her heart on an RC plane, parents know nothing about them, waste money on this. Happy Christmas. **LINK**

Geoff S
That is truly outrageous! I know the £ is worth less than it was but not quite that much! Those twin propeller models fly really badly. I bought one of those little foamie ones just for fun and it needed zero wind to fly at all. Geoff

David Molineux
Just seen this. It might just take the prize for most ridiculous price I've ever seen! Dave
jonryan
Probably nothing can be done about this. Apart from publicise the fact that this model costs £34.25 from HK. http://www.hobbyking.co.uk/hobbyking/store/__66870__WLToys_F939_PoleCat_400mm_2_4G_4CH_Mode_2_Ready_To_Fly_.html Edited By jonryan on 25/10/2016 10:42:43 Edited By jonryan on 25/10/2016 10:43:17 Edited By jonryan on 25/10/2016 10:44:18 Edited By jonryan on 25/10/2016 10:45:

David Molineux
Blimey, I thought it was unbelievable before I saw the Hobby King link. Now I think it's almost criminal. Says he's sold 26 of them though! Dave
jonryan
Yeah. I've sent them a message asking if this is just a posting error. If they don't reply, we should go national. Some poor sods are getting ripped off, and I DO NOT want that sort of thing associated with our hobby. I would get in touch with E Bay, but it would be quicker to clean the Augean Stables
Peter Miller
He SAYS he has sold 26. Just goes to prove that all of the Monkeys ain't in the zoo!
jonryan
I saw that. Going through their catalogue, most prices seem OK, though the odd one sticks out - a 27mz tranny for £166, for instance
