adrian lawrence 1
My condolences to his family, in particular his wife Janet, it was clear from his interview at the rear of one of the magazines that his relationship with her was very strong. He will be greatly missed.
Nigel Hawes
This hobby has lost so many prominent and prolific characters recently and this is the latest tragedy. Another modelling legend gone, nice that his life's work has been immortalised in print, though. Condolences to all.
Rosco
My condolences to his family. Although I never knew the fellow I'm sure he'll be missed by many. The first thing I thought of was his references to hot beverages and digestives in his column. Devcon1
Just reading his articles gave the measure of the man, his sense of enthusiasm, openness and character came across in words and certainly for me an example of how to enjoy life. IanN
What a terrible shock. I have to admit I didn't really warm at all to Pete's column when it first started appearing, but as time passed it grew on me to the extent where for the past couple of years it's usually been one of the first ones I've turned to. Very sad news indeed.

Tim Cheal
Please pass on my condolences to Pete's family. Like many others I have always enjoyed his column. Perhaps RCMandE could package the comments form this thread as a form of condolence book for Janet and the family? Tim Cheal
Erfolg
There is not a lot which can be usefully said or added. The pain will be suffered by his family, which I would guess will not go in their life times, just change with time. I can only offer my most sincere sympathies.
